Unfortunately I am editing my review.
I previously reviewed this Cafe when it first opened and was more then happy to give it 5 stars but lately the cafe has gone really down hill and I wanted to edit my review to reflect this.
Unfortunately everything that made this cafe unique, has now been lost. Third Wave is now very crowded and has become a place for people to work, rather than socially interact with one another. This is honestly not really in their hands though so I wont go into it too much.
The main things I want to focus on is their coffee and food. Both have gone down hill tremendously. They're employing lots of new workers and not training them on how to make good coffee. I have probably been to this cafe around 30 times and the level of inconstancy over the past year has lead me no longer return to this establishment. Depending on who's making the coffee it can range from very good to sub par.
The food has also taken a massive hit as they have replaced the chefs with an oven to cook everything. Let that sink in for a second. This means eggs, sandwiches, pastries everything is cooked in the same oven. This method of trying to cook everything in the same oven. results in terribly bland and poor quality food. The eggs are always over cooked I would strongly recommend not having food here unless its a cake or cookie.
They have also changed their menu in favour of more sweet drinks vs more traditional coffee drinks. All in all Third wave really needs to step it up. This cafe used to be one of the best in Bangalore but has now become a generic chain with a low standard. Everything from the coffee, to service, to their food, it's all starting to fall and it...
Read moreI had been craving a good crossaint for a while and this is one of the very few places which opens early for a good breakfast.
I went here post my workout, to compensate immediately for all the calories I burnt ;)
Anyway, this is place is a must visit:
Parking : 3/5 - Not a problem early in the morning but could be an issue later in the day when you park on the road
Ambience : 5/5 - It smells of freshly brewed coffee, a relaxing environment with the right music. If you wish to spend more time here, they have a small collection of books which you can read and relax.
Safety : 5/5 - The seating is distanced well enough for you to feel safe. They had also kept the Swiggy/ Zomato delivery in a separate space which was definitely helpful.
Food : 5/5 - Delectable! We ordered mushroom croissant, Banana bread and a cappuccino. The croissant was light and airy. It was truly out of the world. The banana bread was moist and melt in the mouth. The coffee lived upto the promise of the amazing coffee smell which the whole place was filled with.
Expense : It cost us around 650 for a đ„, banana bread and â. A little expensive but definitely worth it!
Recommendation : A repeated must visit for a good...
Read moreMy visit to Third Wave Coffee was a delightful experience. I had a soothing cup of Green Tea followed by a well-crafted Cafe Americano. Both beverages were a testament to the dedication to quality that the establishment embodies.
The atmosphere at Third Wave Coffee is cozy and inviting, creating a perfect setting to enjoy your favorite brews. However, I must note that the coziness sometimes leads to a crowded space, which might not be ideal for those seeking a more private setting. Despite the crowd, the staff maintained efficiency and friendliness, ensuring a smooth experience.
The attention to detail in the preparation of the drinks was evident, and the flavors were on point. Each sip of the Green Tea and Cafe Americano transported me to a world of rich taste and aroma. While the bustling crowd might slightly impact the tranquil atmosphere, the overall quality of the beverages and the warm ambiance make Third Wave Coffee a notable destination for coffee enthusiasts. I look forward to my next visit to explore more of...
