2020 Awesome food, great dining experience, friendly staff, nice location. One of our favorite places and the go to place for excellent steaks. There are books to read, cosy ambience. You may have to park probably 100mts away. They don't take reservations after 9 pm. They also have a nice loyalty program . Also found them to be committed to the anti-plastic movement. Are you craving a steak? Then head straight to Once Upon a Flame. I have been here several times, and it has become a go-to place for my friends and me.

This place is a good amalgamation of a casual and fine dining experience. Dim canopy lights, wooden furniture, and exposed brick walls elevate the experience. The punny movie references on the walls are hilarious.

They offer starters, pasta, burgers, salads, steaks, mocktails, milkshakes, and desserts. The burgers and steaks range from vegetarian, lamb, pork, tenderloin, and seafood. Some food that I have tried here.

Herb & Cheese Garlic Whole Loaf - Three whole loaves loaded with cheese, herbs & garlic. It was very soft and delicate and delicious in each bite.

Minced Chicken Patty Burger - A sumptuous portion with a succulent and well-cooked patty. The omelet add-on completed well with the chicken patty.

Treasure Chest Steak Chicken Steak – A big slice of grilled chicken chest cooked magnificently in chili garlic and cheese sauce. Served with mouthwatering squishy mashed potatoes, veggies, and rice, this steak is worth trying.

Captain Jack’s Special Chicken Steak – One of the finest steaks I’ve ever had. A grilled chicken breast inundated in Jack Daniel’s marinate served with rice, veggies, and mashed potatoes. The gravy was exceptional. We licked off all of it from the plate.

Elvis is Back - A milkshake with a good blend of ice cream, brownie, and peanut butter topped with brownie pieces.

Choco Bomb - A combination of Mars & 5-Star bars with Oreo cookies and ice cream.

The service was prompt, and they took good care of us...

Food is great. Would definitely go again to try out other items from their menu. We ordered:

Garlic Bread: Mixed Herbs & Cheese: Quite above our expectations, not sure about the regular garlic bread here but this one tasted really good.

Penne Arrabiata in Red Sauce Pasta: Very well prepared with right blend of ingredients.

Nojito (Mojito but with an N): This was good but I've had a little better Mojitos in the past. But this was really close and good, I don't have any complaints as such.

Elvis is Back: If you are a fan of choco-peanut shakes then you must try Elvis is Back. A well prepared shake with peanut & chocolate combination is hard to find, but I'm really glad I found Elvis is Back, it tasted really good. The brownies on top blended so well and I couldn't have asked for more in that shake.

Chicken Mince Burger: Patty was delicious and thick, this burger is quite filling.
