They gave an explanation for missing their promise.
Sir, I am Sharan from Vaishnavi Vaibhav hotel. Sir, I am extremely sorry for today's service. I am unhealthy today and I admitted to the hospital due to low BP. 😢 Please, sir, tomorrow, please come to the hotel once again, sorry 😞
I had to answer because I didn't even think twice. I had paid in full and placed the order.
I'm Roy replying from my business account.
I'm sorry to hear about what happened, and I hope you feel better soon. When you took the order, you were fine. You were preparing pooris and arguing. I wanted to celebrate my son's fifth birthday, so I ordered 15 plates of vegetable biryani and 20 medu vadas or daal vadas. I requested the order to be delivered by 6:45 pm, but it was Sharan Shetty who promised for 7 pm instead. I visited them an hour before 6:30 pm and asked if the order was ready. Whoever was at the counter said, "The order will be ready by 7 pm." However, the order never came. When I arrived at 7:15 pm, the staff seemed unaware of my order. After arguing with them, they gave me fried rice, which I suspect was made with old cooked rice right in front of me. They didn't provide the vadas because they weren't prepared. They had old rice and made their vegetable rice, but making vadas takes time. They offered me chilly bajji for the kids. I said, "I'm sorry, I can't accept that." Later, they even asked me to pick up the food myself, even though it was supposed to be a home delivery. The food and raita spilled during the journey, ruining my pants and bike. By the time I got home, half of the kids had already left. When I checked the food after two hours, it had gone bad. This ruined my son's birthday celebration. And now I want to know if you were sick when you took the order, or if so, why did you take the order? Can Vaishnavi Vaibhava, who made my son's birthday the worst, make it any better? Instead of saying "It's OK" or "It's all right", can you admit the mistake? And how can you fix it? I want my son's lost 5th...
Read moreIt is amazing how I end up going to so many cafes. This is not a cafe, per say, but the only nice thing I tasted here was their Filter Coffee. So, I will go ahead and call it a cafe.
I went here at tea time, strangely drawn by the aroma of their Filter Coffee. And when you see other people happily chomping whatever's there in front of them, it makes you want to eat something as well. So, I ordered Sev Potato Puri as an accompaniment to my coffee. Sev Puri was a bit sour and acidic for my taste. Having it entirely would have caused acid bouts. Compared to this, their coffee was so much better. Made on the separate counter, customized to your taste. They understood what I meant by Strong Coffee and made it just the way I like to have.
Their seating area is pretty, tables are cleaned efficiently and what I liked most (more than the Filter Coffee) was, their lemon infused water. At tea time, people from nearby offices gather here for sutta and Chai, so it gets chaotic and dirty at that time. You can avoid peak hours, if possible.
Overall impression was, you can go here once and see if it is up to your taste and...
Read moreAfter reading so many negative reviews I decided to visit the newly opened darsini style Veg restaurant. Went to there on a Sunday evening, a peak time. Ordered Paper Masala dosa, Gobi Manchurian, 2 Vada, Pav Bhaji and 2 Tea.
Paper Masala Dosa is crispy and served along with slightly sweet kannada style sambar was good. Chutney is okay..
Vada is okay with same sambar and chutney
Gobi Manchurian is very good, but with excess tomato sauce
Pav Bhaji also good
Overall ratings for food is 4
Service.. Lot of improvement required. The paper Masala Dosa I ordered they forgot to prepare. I got it after pretty longtime. I ordered tea, but in counter they told the same not available. You can opt for Coffee otherwise wait 10 minutes.
Lot of space available for dining. You can park 2 wheeler in front of restaurant, but 4 four wheeler it is not easy. Opposite to the restaurant there are some places available for parking.
Cost wise.. around 350 for the above items looks cheap for...
