We recently celebrated our daughter’s birthday at Savoury Restaurant, and it was an unforgettable experience! The restaurant manager, Mr. Mustafa, was incredibly helpful. He customized the standard menu to suit our occasion and managed the guests seamlessly on the day. The spacious banquet hall on the 1st floor was perfect for our event. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the non-spicy menu, and our guests appreciated the variety of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian items. The staff allocated for our event went above and beyond their duties. They met all the demands of the kids, assisted with cake distribution, and even fetched food items to the table for our elderly guests. Their dedication and attentiveness truly made the celebration special. Additionally, the restaurant offers a separate parking space for such events, which was very convenient for our guests. Overall, Savoury Restaurant provided an excellent venue and service for our celebration. Highly recommended!

Had a sudden solo visit here and went for their “Savoury Special” chicken biryani—apparently the only chicken biryani option on the menu. Unfortunately, the portion was quite small and left me still hungry after finishing it. The rice was half-cooked, oily, and served without any saalan, only a bit of raita. The chicken was tender enough, but the masala—mostly fried onions and paste—was sparse, leaving the biryani feeling dry and lacking flavor. Since I was still hungry, I ordered a “brown shake,” which turned out to be a milkshake blend of chocolate, pineapple, and vanilla. It had a sweet and sour candy-like taste, which wasn’t what I expected and wouldn’t recommend. The restaurant itself spans two floors with good ambiance but very limited ventilation. Anytime someone orders hot chocolate brownies or sizzlers, the whole floor gets filled with smoke and lingering smells. On the plus side, the staff was friendly and attentive.

I had posted an awesome review about this place a few months ago. I went there and had a really good meal. So like most people in Bangalore, I thought why not get the food home delivered even if charged a bit more. Because the food was that good. Since Friday is our eat-out day, we thought of making plate shawarma one of our regular orders. The first delivery was the best. Good price. Good quality. Good quantity. The second time, there was a 40% discount. Still the food was good. The third time, along with the discount on the price, there was a discount on the food. We notified Uber Eats and they apologised, asked us if we wanted a refund and we declined since we would anyways eat the food. The fourth time was an even noticeable reduction in the food quantity. The fifth time, half the box was empty. The plate order contained what a roll order would give. That was it! We both reported our orders on our Swiggy accounts and when they asked us for a refund, though I declined it for the first time, I replied back saying I will take the refund because this is anyways going to be a repetition in the near future. And that was the last order we would ever make to Savoury in Kaggadasapura. Since I havent eaten from other branches, I cant speak for them. But this branch of Savoury was relatively new and within a few months, the quantity deteriorated and the price climbed very drastically. So thank you Savoury and bye. We shall find another place that can actually serve "plate" shawarma. P.S. the below photos are what is given for Rs. 130

Amazing food. Good ambience. Tried their shawarma 😋 Wah what an item! Then had the Kanthari alfahm.. wallah fell in love with it.. totally worth.. their kerala porotta was small and crispy.. and chicken biriyani was mild and good too. Totally loved the food and ended with a mango icecream shake, which also enlightened my taste buds. Overall great experience.
