We visited a Saturday 24.07.2021 for weekend dinner, so not tried there coffee ๐ but ordered most of the best items they have in Menu. Without fancy words, here is my review ๐
Interior: it will give you a modern, upscale feel. Fresh vibes and pop up bright colors all around.
Seating : Comfortable seating. Only Few tables for bigger groups (6+), so book in advance if you are going with your Gang.
Service : service is fast but as usual Weekends are tough. Try to go on weekdays or before 8 pm on weekends (if you can ๐). Staff is knowledgeable. You will be needing their help a lot as Menu is so vibrant and full of fusion items.
Menu : Selected quick bites along with great coffee. They have gone extra mile and added fusion touch to many regular India items with great presentation.
Now main thing Ffffffooooooddddd ๐
We tried :
Babby Nan with Dal Makhani. A must try dish. Order it or else you will watch it on almost every other table and wonder what is it, should we order ๐ 5/5
Kale Chat : A Desi Palak Pakoda with some twist and great presentation. Go for it. 4/5
Chhole Tikki Pav : A pav with Tikki and dry Chhole. You can skip it if you want or try as I did to get a feeling of eating something different. 3/5
Panner Tikka Pizza : we ordered it thin crust on special request of kid. Overall 3/5. You can get it better on other pizzerias
Patato Wedges 3 way : As the name suggest, you will get lots of wedges in three different Masala. This is the first dish you should order as soon as you gets the table, so that you can munch while waiting for you next dish. I feel Masal can be increased to make the more flavorful but still 4/5.
Chocolate Mousse: Last but not the least. 5/5 for the taste and presentation. What a dessert to end the day. Mouth watering and smooth.
Now the Cost : consider it costly and prepare your mind for at least 500-600 per person unless you want to plan a side visit to Tinkus nearby. ๐ itโs a upscale cafe, so be prepared for hight cost and less quantity ๐
Overall : if you are a foodie, own a Insta page about food ๐, love different style food and presentation along with great taste. Itโs a must visit place.
I missed trying : A corn item, shakes, Chinese sizzler, which I ๐ on table next to me. ๐...
ย ย ย Read moreI found the ambiance to be average. It was neither bad nor particularly memorable. The decor was simple and clean, but the lighting was a bit too bright for a cozy evening meal. The tables were well-spaced, which was a nice touch, but overall, the atmosphere was simply okay. Unfortunately, our service was quite slow. It took a long time for a waiter to greet us and even longer to take our order. Our food and drinks were slow to arrive, and we often had to flag someone down for refills or to ask for the check. While our waiter was polite, the slowness of the service was a bit frustrating and detracted from the dining experience. On a much brighter note, the food was absolutely great. The Paneer Tikka starter was fantastic. The paneer was incredibly tender and perfectly marinated, with a wonderful smoky flavor from the tandoor. It was a perfect start to the meal. For the main course, the Paneer Lababdar was a standout. The gravy was rich and perfectly spiced, with a complex blend of flavors that was both creamy and savory. The paneer was soft and cooked just right, melting in my mouth. The Tandoori Naan was also excellentโfluffy, with a beautiful char that complemented the curry perfectly. Finally, dessert was a pleasant surprise. The Ice Cream with Rasgulla was a delightful end to the meal. The rasgulla was soft and soaked in a sweet, fragrant syrup, and it paired wonderfully with the simple vanilla ice cream. Overall, The Grand Bistro offers a culinary experience that is truly worth the visit, with delicious food that makes up for the slow service and average ambiance. If you're looking for great Indian food and donโt mind a bit of a wait, this is the...
