Moti Mahal Delux Indore — Restaurant in Madhya Pradesh

I have visited this branch twice. The service staff is pathetic including the managers. The dish that they serve is totally different from what is written in the menu. For instance on my first visit I had a load of expectations as I have a heard a lot about this restaurant. I ordered hot brownie with ice cream. This is a basic dish with 3 components, brownie topped with ice cream and chocolate sauce and served on a sizzler plate. They served me a dry brownie with ice cream and upon asking they confirmed that because the chocolate sauce was finished, THEY DECIDED TO SERVE AN INCOMPLETE DISH. This is very unprofessional but I decided to ignore. Later we ordered 2 missi rotis at an interval and both time we received 2 different bread and upon asking the staff was ready to argue that both are same breads. I got the idea that this restaurant is not for people who have even the basic knowledge of food and taste. It is only for people who can have anything in the name of food. I placed a complaint at the restaurant and left. Yesterday i.e. on September 1, 2024 I decided to try once more. This was my second visit. I order a veg talumien soup which, in the menu, was as a soup with exotic veggies. The soup which was served was a clear soup having carrots, beans and cabbage, no exotic veggies. Upon asking the manager he confirmed that currently they are not getting fresh broccoli in the market so they DECIDED AGAIN TO CHANGE THE DISH WITHOUT INFORMING THE CUSTOMER. I was very angry. We ordered Pad thai noodle which when served were some clear soupy kind of flat noodle. Upon asking they confirmed that every chef has different cooking style. And this is how our chef cooks pad thai noodle. For reference pad thai noodle are dry flat noodles cooked in red sauce.

This feedback is just for the sake of information for the management to focus a bit on the working of this branch. Indore is the city of foodies. We have ample number of options within the city. Even a small dhaba operational on the road has more taste, etiquette and management then this branch of yours.

I am rating 1 star as that's the minimum. Else, I would give minus 10. Yesterday, on 18th Feb 2024, I visited Moti Mahal restaurant, and it was a terrible mistake. I had ordered murg di bhatti, 1 Veg Fried rice, and Moti mahal special stuffed Mushroom.

First of all, it was a pathetic experience when i saw stuffed mushrooms as it was not matching by the description of what was explained by the manager. We were told there would be very good filling with dry fruit and other stuff. But when it was delivered first of all it was not Mushroom..it was a geen vegetable like small Tinda and filled with meshed Paneer. It was a total turn-off. Total waste of money and moreover we felt cheated.

Bhatti, the murg was 640+tax. This dish was not delicious at all it was burnt badly and very dry. And even paying this much money, the quantity was very low. If we are paying a good amount of 700, then u expect at least you will receive sufficient quantity, but chiken was burnt and worst in the teste.

The last dish was veg fried rice. While giving the order I clearly indicated,it should be 0 spicy. But when we received there was lots of gree chili on it. Moreover, the fried rice was not cooked properly they were raw. The rice grain was so hard to chew. We were not able to eat it.

It was a disaster. I would suggest that, please do not waste your hard earn money on this pathetic restaurant. This was the worst experience of my life. I want to alert you guys. During my recent visit to Moti Mahal, I was disappointed with the overall quality of the food. Despite ordering a variety of dishes, none of them satisfied our palates or delivered the flavors we were anticipating. The Chicken Afghani and Butter Chicken, in particular, lacked the tenderness and juiciness that would have made them memorable culinary experiences. Even veg dishes were disappointing. On giving feedback to the staff we came to know that their regular chef isn't available which I believe compromised the taste.

While the food experience was underwhelming, the staff at the restaurant provided a positive impression with their graciousness and attentiveness. Their cordial demeanor and willingness to offer assistance elevated our dining experience, and we appreciated their dedication to making our visit enjoyable.

Furthermore, we were pleased with the restaurant's impeccable hygiene standards, which made us feel secure and comfortable dining at the establishment. Their commitment to cleanliness and safety is commendable and an essential component of any dining experience.
