Café Coffee Day — Restaurant in Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation

This CCD looked so nice and spacious from the outside that we decided to step in. Ordered for tangerine white chocolate cold coffee, cappuccino, bun with paneer. Cold coffee had no flavour at all. Asked to change then they showed some resistance. Once changed they ddnt add cream. On inquiring why the manager said that they replace coffee not cream nd since cream had dissolved they ddnt. Sounds weird but they added. Then the cold coffee was not cold at all but the manager again argued that it was. Finally i asked him to cancel nd give refund for which he refused point blank. We ordered for Croissant,, which were average. Bun was decent.. cappuccino was not hot..attitude of the manager was not good.. they want us to take something else in place of coffee that too after insisting otherwise they insisted to take Frappe instead. I told him that the same coffee in Delhi ccd tastes so good nd he is telling me that you must have gone to a different place or coffee day. I m a regular with this coffee nd I know the taste. Namaskar! Visited this outlet after probably 7/8 years. Ordered regular items like coffee, garlic bread etc. Service was ok. Store hygenie and cleanliness could have been lot better and needs attention. But need to highlight something more important. Ordered in 2 lots. 1st was billed and I paid in cash. For 2nd order he insisted I pay by cash and said he would not be able to generate a Bill. Now this is standard plea and happens sometimes. But here the plan was to make money on the side. That was unacceptable. I had to insist for a proper Bill and handed over a manual one, which was accepted after proper resistance. Now having been exposed to such large businesses because of my profession, am aware of such ways and means of pilferage. Personally, am a big fan of Cafe Coffee Day and the way the entire revolution started. Have visited numerous counters across country. Hence this behavior stuck out and I could sense the intent. One of the worst CCD. Hardly 1-2 places to plugin and they hardly work at times. Staff are alright but the manager is horrible. He expects you to order something every hour, I mean how many coffees can someone drink in 3 hours. LOL. And there is a tall guy, who I guess is working with CCD who visits everyday evening and the entire CCD staff worships him out of fear. He sits near the entrance in a way which will make the ladies really uncomfortable and pretends to be working on his laptop. He uses a long cable extension to charge his laptop which causes hazard because the cable goes through the middle of the way and he hardly bothers about it. At times he brings his friends along and they behave as if the won CCD and disturb the entire floor. This is pretty weird and not sure how the management tolerates all this. Anyways,...
