I recently visited Narula's Restaurant for lunch and was delighted by the scrumptious food they serve. The chicken lababdar was simply outstanding, and it compelled me to return for a second visit. However, I must admit that my experience was slightly marred by an unforeseen circumstance. The ambiance of the restaurant was pleasant, with comfortable seating arrangements and a friendly staff. The aroma of the food was enough to make my mouth water, and I eagerly looked forward to savoring every bite. As I sat down to enjoy my meal, I noticed a group of cricket experts seated beside us, engrossed in a passionate discussion about the sport. The experts seemed to be deeply engrossed in their conversation, which occasionally grew quite loud and distracting. This unexpected turn of events made it difficult for me to have a peaceful and relaxed dining experience. Nonetheless, the food itself was undeniably the star of the show. The chicken lababdar was rich in flavor, with tender pieces of chicken cooked to perfection in a creamy tomato-based gravy. The spices were well-balanced, adding a delightful kick without overpowering the dish. The serving size was generous, and the accompanying naan bread was soft and freshly baked. Despite the cricket overload, I couldn't resist visiting Narula's Restaurant again the next day solely for the sake of experiencing their delicious food. The consistency in taste and quality was commendable, and I left with a satisfied palate once more. In conclusion, Narula's Restaurant offers delectable food that is worth indulging in. However, it would be beneficial if the management took steps to ensure that discussions or noise levels from other guests do not disrupt the dining experience for everyone. For those who appreciate both cricket and great food, this might be the perfect spot.

The restaurant is good, but only with it's vegetarian food. We went with our family friends to try their food for the first time and ate vegetarian items such as paneer tikka and mushroom cheese tikka. We also had their butter paneer and naan in main course and the food was great. It was so good that we decided to host a small family function of 15 people there. We called them and made all the arrangements. We pre ordered the food and this time with high expectations we ordered non vegetarian items. But that was the main issue. The only one non vegetarian thing that I liked was their mutton shorba and everything else was a bit raw. Along with that they took a lot of time to bring out the food even though it was pre ordered. The chicken tikka, chicken biriyani anything non vegetarian wasn't nice. But that day the vegetarian food didn't taste nice either. So, may be they wanted to serve us well but it ended in a blunder. The staff was really nice they were ready to remake the food but it was already late night and they took a long time to prepare the food so we skipped. We visited them recently and I can say that their food is really nice, may be that was a bad day, so if anything like this happens with you, just think of it a bad day and give them another chance. They're a really nice restaurant.

Covid 19 Special - Well Sanitized, adhering to social distancing & other protocols. Temp checks done. Plates n cutlery is sanitized & wrapped in for safety. Tables arranged far from each other. Food taste is good. Portions are fair. Service is not superfast but not something to complain. Prices are on the higher side but worth the taste. Menu has got diversity. Food options aren't plethora but you will have a good time. Please note all the bread items that include All purpose flour(Maida) are prepared with egg for the texture & fluffiness. If you are a Vegetarian, double check. Recommendation - Dahi ke Sholay in Veg Bullet chicken in Non Veg Staff & Hospitality - Staff are polite & friendly. They make you feel comfortable & welcoming. Ambience - The washbasin area is disheartening compared to the seating n dining area ambience. Need to do something about it. Location & Parking - Great location as its on Janpath. On first floor n have to take steps. Parking has been an issue as it's on janpath. Can park on other side of road on designated parking spaces. It might be a concern if visiting on a busy day.
