Went to this place for lunch with family but returned with a disappointing experience overall.

Ordered both veg and non veg starters and the taste was good. Patiala Lassi and Sweet Lassi was amazing and will be my recommendation if you visit this place. But, the main course ordered was not up to the mark. Malai Kofta was hard and Dal Makhani was decent at best. Food overall is decent but not great !

Staff behaviour and service was good but the ambience of the place was below average. The interiors and atmosphere is nothing as shown in the photos, so if you’re going for this keep in mind to get disappointed. AC was not working at all, the lighting was dull and cutlery was not cleaned properly.

My recommendation will be to do takeaway from here and that too starters, as per my experience or order from online platforms if available. But family visit is what I will avoid. At last, I won’t be visiting it anymore due to poor ambience, dull interiors and not so great food.

Patiala House is hands down the best place for Punjabi food. The moment you step in, you're greeted by a vibrant and culturally rich ambiance. The furniture, including woven chairs and charpais (traditional cots), adds to the authentic feel of the place.

The staff is incredibly welcoming and friendly, making you feel right at home. They are professional and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of your dining experience is perfect. The dedication they put into their service is truly commendable.

As for the food, it's nothing short of spectacular. Every dish is prepared with absolute dedication, capturing the true essence of Punjabi cuisine. They also serve a complementary jaljeera drink, which is refreshing and a delightful start to your meal.

This place is as its name. Full of Punjabi Vibes. They deliver what they say about themselves, just Amazing. All the varieties of Biriyani are too good, which make this place famous. After so much of word of mouth, I have tried the Butter Chicken Biriyani. This is so amazing that will bring water in your mouth. So finger licking taste. The smell, the aroma, the colour and the flavour are too good. Portion is also good, served 2 persons. Also tried the Tandoori Pomfret. This was a bit of disappointment. Though the portion was ok, but Not satisfied at all, as it was not well cooked and was having a strong smell even after the Tandoori. They serve so late even if there are not much customers. For these 2 reasons, given 4 star. Was about to give 3 star, but the Biriyani is the reason which is not letting me to give 3. 😅
