I recently visited the Yum Yum fast food in Bhubaneswar, and overall, I was quite impressed with my experience. Here's a breakdown of my thoughts on the different aspects of my visit:
Food - (4/5)
I ordered Chicken Chilly and Chicken Biryani at Yum Yum Fast Food Hotel and I must say that I was impressed with the taste and portion size. Both dishes were well-cooked and the flavors were well-balanced. The chicken was tender and juicy, and the spices were just right. The waiting time was less which was a plus point. I would definitely recommend these dishes to others.
Ambience - (2/5)
The ambience at Yum Yum Fast Food Hotel was quite lacking. The decor was outdated and the seating arrangements were simple. The lighting was too bright, which made it feel a bit uncomfortable. There wasn't much effort put into creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I think they could improve the ambience by updating the decor and adding some soft lighting.
Staff - (3/5)
The staff at Yum Yum Fast Food Hotel were polite and did their job efficiently, but they were not particularly friendly. They didn't go out of their way to make me feel welcome or answer any...
Read moreDidn't have a pleasant experience. I ordered butter garlic prawn but was served honey chilli prawn which was too sweet. On asking them they said this is how the chef prepares butter garlic prawns with extra honey and chillies. We had specially mentioned about keeping the paneer gravy low to non spicy , but then it was so spicy that they modified it extra sweet runny tomato gravy. I had ordered a regular dum mutton biryani but after their insistence we had to try the yakhni pulao which was average .We literally had to ask them a trillion times for a baked rasgulla, to counter the spicy food which they served pretty late.
In short I paid 2400 approx for the food i didn't order and ate half heartedly. Highly disappointed. Have been taking away food for last 30 years but dining experience was bad. Never...
Read moreThe seats here are a bit congested, in comparison to their restaurant Golden Bird, but the food here is better than Golden Bird. The chicken tikka was succulent and so flavorful that it could be paired with anything and we paired it with a hakka noodle. The noodle was great as well. The food at Golden Bird is nice but I hope they start serving the same food at both their restaurants. The price range is not that different between both the restaurants, while Yum Yum is sort of a fast food setting, Golden Bird is more of a fine dining experience. After having food at both of the restaurants, I can definitely say, the food here is better, while the comfort is better at Golden Bird. So, you can choose the experience that you want and visit the restaurants...
