Food is terrible. Breakfast buffet spread is pathetic. Ordered for a masala dosa from the live counter which turned out to be soggy. Crispy dosa is the bare minimum. The dessert section was lifeless. The miniature croissants were dry with no fluffiness. Chocolate muffins were dry and hard.Most likely was prepared a few days ago and were not fresh. The food is bland. On day 2 ordered for Chakuli pitha and ghugni. Zero flavors in ghugni and bland food. For in room dining the dalma that came as part of the fish meal was tasteless. The tandoori roti opted for in room dining was hard as papad. Chingudi rasa was made out of frozen tiny shrimps with rubbery texture. Not sure why a brand like ITC has such a pathetic restaurant. Staff were polite & prompt in their service though. Very very disappointed with the food. The Peshawari is far better in terms of food taste & quality. Will post a separate review on the same. Dinner buffet food was absolutely terrible! We were excited to go because we had just had some great food in ITC grand chola in chennai so expected a similar experience. We were in Bhubaneswar for one night and took our in-laws here instead of normal Mayfair Dhaba because of the good reviews. All of us including in-laws and kids found the food taste to be pretty awful. Hence writing this review as a warning to others

Desserts all tasted the same and had some awful preservative taste. Cake was really hard

The curries had a strange sweet flavor to them

Mutton also was cooked poorly

Dal was very bland and no taste

Paratha was really hard and barely edible

The ambience is nice and staff service is good. But the lunch buffet spread was very limited.

They only had two starters for veg and non veg. And the main course was below average. There was not a single dish which could make me go “wow”. And price you pay for eating here is just not worth it. The dessert menu was also very less and not tasty.

There are many other restaurants in bbsr which offer much better food and with good price.
