Hotel Vaishno Residency: A Tale of Two Rooms and Stellar Service My recent stay at Hotel Vaishno Residency in Bhubaneswar was a curious mix of experiences. While the super deluxe and above category rooms truly shone, the standard room left room for improvement. Let's break it down:
Highs:
Location, Location, Location: The hotel's biggest strength is undoubtedly its prime location in Kolathia, Khandagiri. It's close to important landmarks and offers easy access to the city. Super Deluxe and Above Rooms: Stepping into these rooms felt like a whole different hotel. They were spacious, beautifully furnished, and incredibly clean. The amenities were excellent, including comfortable beds, spotless bathrooms, and even balconies with city views. Exceptional Staff and Service: From the friendly reception staff to the helpful housekeeping team, the service at Vaishno Residency was top-notch. Special mention goes to the diligent guard who made every guest feel welcome and safe. His promptness and attentiveness truly elevated the experience. Lows:
Standard Room Shortcomings: Unfortunately, the standard room experience didn't match the grandeur of the higher categories. It felt smaller, the furniture was basic, and the overall cleanliness left a bit to be desired. WiFi Woes: Weak WiFi, especially on the ground floor, was a bit of a downer. Reliable internet connectivity is crucial for many travelers these days, so this needs some attention. Overall:
Hotel Vaishno Residency offers a contrasting experience depending on your room category. While the standard room needs some upgrades, the super deluxe and above rooms are genuinely impressive. The exceptional staff and prime location definitely add to the positives.
Here's my recommendation: If you're looking for a budget-friendly option and prioritize clean basics, the standard room might be okay. But if you value comfort, space, and amenities, definitely splurge on the higher categories. You won't be disappointed!
I hope this review provides a helpful and balanced perspective on Hotel Vaishno Residency. Remember, your choice of room will significantly impact your...

They dont keep track of the water bottles to be issued . Very disappointing after paying so much we had to get this type of treatment from your staff hospitality is zero. First train your staff how to deal with coustomers and not to make attitude faces and by not being approchable.
I hope now its not a...
Read moreIt is a new hotel. The rooms are clean and hygienic. The rooms have all the facilities like air conditioning, electric kettle to make tea, etc. They do not have an in-house kitchen. They have tied up with a restaurant for the food and therein lies the problem. The food taste is not good. Any room service order takes time, since it has to be procured from their partner restaurant. Service thus is slow. Also, there were three of us in the room and breakfast was complementary. When we got the breakfast, they gave only one cup of tea. We had to request for the remaining two cups of tea. Also, when we were allocated the room upstairs, none of the staff offered to carry our luggage up to the room, which was surprising since most hotels have staff helping out their customers with their luggage. If they go ahead and have an in-house kitchen or tie up with a better restaurant, it will improve the food quality and...
