Beware Beware Before Paying Your Bill

Last month, we visited Aami Bangali Restaurant; Salt lake to celebrate Aiburovat and booked a table through Eazy Diner. We were informed by Eazy Diner that there was an existing offer of a 10% discount on the total bill. Upon arrival at the restaurant, we discussed this offer with the staff, and they confirmed the agreement. However, after completing our lunch, the restaurant denied providing the promised 10% discount and directed us to contact the Eazy Diner team. Due to time constraints, we were unable to verify this immediately. Later, upon contacting the Eazy Diner team, we learned that the discount was supposed to be provided directly by the restaurant. Despite numerous attempts to reach out to the restaurant, we did not receive a proper response.

Food Review:

We spent over 7k+ rupees on lunch and were disappointed to find that the food we received seemed to have been taken directly from the freezer. Despite the high prices, the quality of the food was extremely poor. We ordered the mutton thali, dav chingri, fish cutlet, and a few other recommended dishes, but were very dissatisfied with the taste and freshness. Unhygienic Pickup Environment at Ami Bengali Restaurant, Salt Lake I'm profoundly disappointed by the condition of the pickup point at your recently opened Ami Bengali Restaurant in Salt Lake. The pickup point is located in an extremely dirty and narrow alleyway, which is incredibly unhygienic and difficult for delivery partners. One day, as I was passing by, I saw them washing large utensils, and they spilled the dirty curry water right onto my feet. When I informed them about it, they simply told me to go inside and tell the owner! Working in such an unclean and unhealthy environment poses a risk to our health and is absolutely unacceptable. Especially when we are delivering food items, hygiene is of utmost importance, and this current setup at Ami Bengali Restaurant, Salt Lake, is a serious concern. I sincerely hope you will take this matter seriously and take prompt action to resolve it. It would be greatly appreciated if you could create a proper pickup point outside your premises or arrange for staff to hand over orders outside, ensuring a clean and accessible environment for delivery partners. I recently visited Aami Bangali Restaurant in Saltlake and was blown away by their authentic Bengali cuisine! Ordered the Fish Fingur and Basanti Polao with Chicken Dakbanglo - what a delightful combination!

Fish Fingur: Crispy exterior, tender interior, and flavors that transported me to the streets of Kolkata! The fish was fresh, and the batter was perfectly seasoned. A must-try for fish lovers!

Basanti Polao: Fluffy, aromatic, and infused with saffron goodness! This yellow rice was cooked to perfection and complemented the Chicken Dakbanglo beautifully.

Chicken Dakbanglo: Spicy, juicy, and fall-off-the-bone tender! The flavors were spot on, with just the right balance of spices. Paired perfectly with the Basanti Polao.

Service: Prompt, courteous, and attentive staff. Ambiance was cozy and welcoming.

Verdict: Aami Bangali Restaurant is a hidden gem for Bengali food enthusiasts! Reasonably priced, generous portions, and authentic flavors make it a must-visit.

Recommendation: Don't miss their Fish Fingur and Chicken Dakbanglo!
