This one is all about sheer #nostalgia - dropping in at Gangotri-A Veg Hub-Official was all about going back to my high school days when this space along with the swimming pool area in Saltlake used to be our regular hang out joint for delicious food at pocket friendly prices 😍

Went back after a decade and found the whole look and feel has changed into a more premium outlet although the food remains equally delicious till date thankfully at this #legendary outlet in #Saltlake since 1994💯

So I had gennie dosa here and was disappointed with the experience I had here. So after we placed order it took them 30-35 mins to get our dosa that too after multiple reminders which drove us crazy also it wasn't that crowed there were hardly 4-6 people in the restaurant. After a long wait when I had a first bite of the dosa it wasn't that great, it was a normal dosa with cheese and no taste. Not going here again for sure. Replying to the owners comment- You said I entered your place at 4:42 PM but fyi I came to Gangotri in the morning around 10-11AM and on a weekend some 2 weeks back. I really don't understand how did you recognise me and how did you commented a wrong statement. Also I ordered tea along with the dossa and tea also was served to me after multiple times of reminder. Now you can go ahead and check the cameras. I have given a genuine review as per my experience and just not for the sake...

The foods served here are excellent. It's a pure vegetarian restaurant consisting of dishes without onion-garlic too (helpful for the Hindu month of Saawan). Two of us went there for a lunch on a Sunday afternoon. We had Gangotri Special Cheese Masala Dosa (Masala was saatwik I.e., Without onion garlic) and Gangotri special thali containing Lachha Paratha, Aalo Sabzi, Paneer Butter Masala, Tomato Chutney (sweet), Arhar Daal, Gulab Jamun and Papad. The foods were very delicious here and the level of hygiene and cleanliness maintained here is upto the peak. The dishes are not overly spiced and pocket friendly also. Planning to go there again. Its the Best Saatwik Vegetarian Restaurant in Entire Salt Lake. Other restaurants offer pure vegetarian food (consisting of Onion and Garlic) but don't offer saatvik Pure Vegetarian Food. It's a Must-go place...
