I recently had the pleasure of dining at Dosa Caffe in Salt Lake, and I am compelled to share my delightful experience. From start to finish, the visit surpassed my expectations in every aspect.

The ambiance of the restaurant creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. The contemporary decor, coupled with soothing music, set the perfect backdrop for a relaxed dining experience. The staff's courteous and attentive service further enhanced the overall ambiance.

Now, let's talk about the star of the show—the food. The dosas at Dosa Caffe are nothing short of exceptional. Each one is a flavorful masterpiece, meticulously prepared and served with an array of delectable chutneys. The menu offers a diverse selection, catering to various tastes, and the quality of ingredients is evident in every bite.

I was particularly impressed with the prompt service. Despite the restaurant's popularity, the staff managed to maintain efficiency without compromising on the quality of service. Kudos to the kitchen and serving staff for their dedication.

In addition to the fantastic food, the pricing is reasonable, making it a great value for the culinary experience offered. The management's commitment to customer satisfaction is evident, and I appreciate the attention to detail that goes into every aspect of the dining experience.

Overall, Dosa Caffe in Salt Lake has earned my highest recommendation. Whether you're a dosa enthusiast or simply looking for a memorable dining experience, this place delivers on all fronts. I look forward to my next visit and exploring more of the culinary delights this gem has to...

Known for it's South Indian Delicacies, Dosa Coffee is the place to enjoy authentic taste from the South!

Located at Sector 3, Salt Lake, Dosa Coffee is here to fill your appetite with the soulful flavours of South!

The interior is well decorated and has a seating capacity of 30 approx. But the best part they have a outer sitting area too which feels soothing in the sunny warmth of winter days.

Dishes we tried :

If you are at an South Indian Restaurant and not trying the Filter Coffee then surely you are missing out a great deal! South Indian filter coffee is made by mixing frothed and boiled milk with the infusion obtained by percolation brewing of finely ground coffee powder in a traditional Indian filter. It had a clean, sweet, and delicate brew.

Moving on to one of our favourites Dahi Vada, a must try, the lip-smacking, quintessential, classic South Indian just melts in your mouth!

The Mixed Uttapam, slightly crispy around the edges and outside while very soft and fluffy from the inside, tastes great!

Guntur Karam Podi Dosa, chef's special, this podi recipe is a dry powder made with black urad dal and coriander seeds as its main ingredients. Great for your tastebuds, flavorful! Ending on a sweet note with the Kesari Halwa, again a must try!

I guess the best part is the quality of the food with top notch ingredients and still the pricing is kept on the lower side!

Highly Recommended.

The interior is very neat and clean and the sitting arrangements are quite spacious.total capacity around 30 people. Their specialty is the variety in south Indian dishes and off course coffee

  1. Malkapodi Dosa: this was served in a cone form with spicy a spicy flavour and taste. In tamil language, the word milagai means red chilies and podi means powder. Hence it’s a but spicy but the dosa was crunchy enough. Served with sambar and chutney. It’s a new dosa variety which I tried for the very first time.

Under Keralite specials tried the following:

The paneer cury contained only small pieces of panner and potato stew is a new items which I had for the first time. Potato stew was white in color.

South Indian cuisine is perhaps the hottest of all Indian food. Meals are centered around rice or rice-based dishes. And if you want to taste some authentic South Indian delicacies then Dosa Coffee is there at your rescue. So a few days back I was here at @dosacoffee (Saltlake Outlet) to try some of their special South Indian delicacies and my experience was quite good here. I've tried their Filter Coffee, Garlic Ghee Roast Dosa, Guntur Karam Podi Dosa, Malabar Parantha with Korma and Kesari Halwa. South Indians are great lovers of coffee and to be very honest they makes the BEST Filter Coffee in the city. So if you're visiting this place their Filter Coffee is a must must. Next, I would recommend their Guntur Karam Podi Dosa(they use both ghee and butter to fry the Dosa) and Garlic Ghee Roast Dosa(this one is a must must try). Ghee roast dosa is one of the popular dosa variety liked by many folks. Usually I like simple plain or Sada dosa with some coconut chutney. But now onwards these crispy ghee dosas joins the list. I've also tried their Malabar Parantha which they've served with Paneer Korma and Aloo Stew. If you want to try out something different or if you don't like Dosa that much then do give this a try. We ended on a sweet note with their special Kesari Halwa. They are maintaining every possible safety and hygiene protocols. Do pay a visit here to taste some great South Indian delicacies with real South Indian flavours.
