My flat is one island away from GD island. I regularly go there when i stay in my flat for buy groceries and other staff. Resturents are here with cheap but delicious food. Annapurna sweet shop is 1 minutes walking from this island, which you must pay a visit if you are vegetarian or want to try some delicious sweets and snacks. Their paneer role costs only Rs.35 and stuffed with paneer and so tasty that i buy it everytime i pass by it. You can choose anything from variety of stores like- Arambagh food mart, republic chicken, grocery store. Amminia, vip sweets, Annapurna sweets, bake shop for cakes, low cost cheap resturents everything available. *Enough parking space and free of charge. Bank of boroda, state bank branch is there. 3 ATM service available there. Park for children...

This island has no address as shown.From this island one can go in four directions. one leads to Ultadanga via Lobony, another towards Sector 5 of Saltlake, one way heading towards Kuranamoyi and another to Beliaghata, EMBypass. It's an important junction. Road is wide, practically this is the best way to enter Saltlake from EM Byepass. This island is renamed as Mother Terasa island.
