I suddenly came across this small restaurant / take away counter while passing by. Have heard their name from one of my colleague, so wanted to give it a try. As a foodie I love experimenting foods from different places and restaurants. Their most selling and the most tasty item is Chicken Momo which costs 40/- for 5pcs. Could not believe that I will get the authentic taste and the size of momo is average. The thin cover and the stuffing makes the difference.. Even I have tried their Chicken Cheese Balls which is also recommendable. A pocket friendly place to have snacks when you are hungry. Situation in Chingrighata, "Empty Stomach" always used y be the place where I headed late at night to pack some food back home. It's light on the pocket and the food is so diverse that you get almost all comfort food, be it thali, sandwiches, appetizer, soups, noodles, stir fried etc. And the best part is apart from the thali, all of the food would be made right in front of you. Each dish is rich in flavor and of course matches the palate of the native. They do have a small dine-in area. Little gem in the busy streets of Chingrighata. If you are crossing Chingri ghata then take out 30 minutes of time from your busy schedule and embrace your taste buds. You will not be disappointed for sure. These guys are freaking delicious. You will be astonished to see the quality of the food and the price you are paying for it. This little joint is capabble of giving tough competition to many hyped chinese places of this city. Dont forget to meet the humble owners and encourage them if possible.
