Kaviar is a #PPPpartnership with the #GovernmentofWestBengal via Haringhata Meat Shop where the focus is on unconventional Non veg delicacies.. Tucked away inside #Saltlake - this one is certainly a hidden gem since 2016..

Service could be slightly better but the pricing is just perfect - extremely economical in respect to the delicacies on offer..

I gorged on #QuailEggDevil, #RoastedDuck & #TandooriQuail - all three items were delicious & specifically the roasted duck was a delightful gastronomical experience - couldn't have imagined duck meat can be that tender..

Missed out on the #RabbitBhuna that day - looking forward to go back soon post lockdown for the same..

I remember going to #Suruchi regularly just beside #SovabazarMetroStation years ago which was also run by the West Bengal government - that was where I had #Quail & #Rabbit for the first time in my life & became a fan of the same instantly - it unfortunately closed down at some point and I miss that place even today because of the unconventional delicacies that used to be on offer at extremely economical prices - thankfully, I have finally found an alternative now.. How many of you remember that eatery if I may ask??

I don't give 5 stars easily to any restaurant but this restaurant truly deserves it. This place is not that famous but the food quality is really tasty and extremely affordable with prices starting at 40 at ending at 319. We had rabbit blast. This had six pieces, the bones where really tough and it had got a weird texture but overall the dish was prepared quiet nicely and was really tasty. We had peckin duck bowl. This had 4 pieces of duck one really large piece with skin and 3 smaller pieces. This was a bit spicy .... but since I eat lots of spice I find it manageable others may have a hard time. The meat was a little tough but the dish was tasty. This meat also had a texture of chicken but a little bit tough and chewy.This was served with fried rice , but you can also choose noodles.

Finally we had goshter bowl. This was really really tasty and had two pieces of mutton 1 very big piece and other a smaller piece served with pea rice. This was very very aroma ful and had lots of spices blend together. The mutton was very soft and juicy. Overall a great experience and I will...

The food served is good and affordable, specially the special chicken platter. Items of turkey and quail are available at relatively affordable prices. Quantity provided is sufficient. After eating, you also have the option of buying raw or processed meat items from Haringhata brand. However the service is not very good.

Sometimes you have to wait an eternity before you are given a menu and even more before your order is taken. They don't always write down your order, at least they haven't for me in the past two instances. The staff appears to be more interested in watching TV instead of serving and sometimes they forget that you ordered cold drinks/fresh lime soda or other beverage with your food and you have to remind them after all the dishes you ordered are served.
