Monginis Cake Shop — Restaurant in Bihar

I visited Monginis to buy a cake, but unfortunately, the experience was quite upsetting. The cake on display had disfigured cream and didn’t look fresh, so I politely pointed it out to the staff before making a purchase. Instead of addressing my concern professionally, one staff member rudely told another to “just show him some pastry,” in a tone that made me feel judged—as if I didn’t have the capacity to buy it.

I always approach people respectfully, and it’s disheartening to be treated in such a dismissive and unkind way, especially when I was simply trying to make a thoughtful purchase. Customers are paying for products, not asking for anything free, and we deserve to be treated with basic courtesy.

Experiences like this really ruin the day. I believe in treating people well, but moments like this make you question that approach. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and trains their staff to treat every customer with respect—regardless of appearance or questions asked.

I also saw previous reviews .same complain has been made 2 years back and till now you have not improved .it means that expecting something from you doesn't make any sense.you lost many customers today.hope to never...

Extremely disappointing experience.. I usually go for the regular pineapple cake becuz i knw and love its taste.. However.. this time I was manipulated by the staff into buying the Classic Pineapple Cake as if it were some premium.. extraordinary flavor!!

Let me be very clear ..it was a complete letdown... The taste was bland.. unworthy of the hype.. and absolutely not worth the money!! I regret trusting the staff’s pushy recommendation.. My money was completely wasted!!

Note to others: Don’t fall for sales tactics.. Stick to what u like not what someone else tries to convince u into buying.. Classic Pineapple? More like classic...

Good for cake order. You can order cake one day before for special variety like vanilla,dark forest flavour etc and of different weight like 1 pound, 2 pound,3 pound etc. I ordered here one day before for birthday 3 pound dark forest flavour cake @ 900 rupees.It give order at right time.Good behaviour of staffs.But one point is that if order 3 pound cake like me you have not given in carry bag.Staff said they have not such carry bag for that weight cake.
