Sujata Restaurant — Restaurant in Bodhgaya

Was there recently for lunch and had a very bad experience. For a restaurant which is catering to tourists already pressed for time, it took almost 1 hour to serve our food. This forced us to cut short our Mahabodhi temple visit. And this was the condition, when there was one other table occupied. But the wait would have been worth it, had the food been palatable. The Matar Methi Malai was atrocious, Cheese Balls stuffing was cheese mixed with mashed potato. And if these were not sufficient, they also screwed up on taking orders. Despite telling them and confirming twice about changing an item at the time of taking order itself, they still delivered the item that was cancelled. And interestingly, they did the same to the adjacent table also.

Overpriced, and the food and service were poor. I paid way too much for undercooked, lukewarm momos -- the worst I've eaten anywhere. Plus, service was slow and inexperienced, the power kept cutting out, and the place has the charm of an institutional...
