I first visited the restaurant in 2017. At that time it was decent. Even though the neighborhood is shady. This time when we visited the restaurant (January, 2025), the service was very very slow, the crowd there was indecent and the worst part was the quality of the food! We ordered a chicken dish and butter nan. When I tore the chicken piece, there was so much blood in it and it was not cooked! I felt disgusted and my appetite went down instantly. They offered to change the dish and brought us a different chicken item but we couldn't eat that as our appetite was ruined. Any student of Visva Bharati is familiar with the name S.K., Like I was for the time I was doing my B.A. in visva bharati. S.K was an often go to choice in my list because of the tasty food and good quantities. However the last time I went there was the day before I returned back home after graduation. I don't eat meat. So while ordering we asked if the have chilli paneer, cuz we had it before there, but it wasn't there on the menu then. They said sure they do. So I ordered chilli paneer for myself and my partner ordered mushroom for himself. And guess what?! They charged 250 bucks for a plate of chilli paneer!!
