Please avoid this restaurant on the weekend & holiday days. We have stayed 2 days in the Bolpur Youth Hostel on 30th & 31st Dec 2022. We have ate dinner both days in the restaurant. The 1st day on 30th Dec 22 their served food is okay, and no rush noticed. But the next day 31st Dec 22 they have taken huge orders and they totally failures to manage the situation. We have made the dinner order around 8:15pm and got the food at table around 10:10pm. All the chicken items (Garlic Chicken and Afgani Chicken) taste are too bad and laccha paratha was not properly fried. When we are giving the feedback to their restaurant manager/cashier he just avoid me and talking to other people abut their order. From the midnight we all were sick with vomiting and loose motion due to food poisoning. Next day morning we left the Youth Hostel due to return journey and that time restaurant was closed. The Canteen is look like a Good resturant with fully Air Conditioning room. Food aslo very testy quality with maintained proper hygiene. Breakfast lunch snaks dinner all available with huge option. You can stay in this hostel with family friends and singel person for study or works purpose. Rooms are well decorated and ac and non ac both rooms ar available with single double triple occupancy. the staffs are well trained.
