One of the oldest restaurant in bolpur. Located near jambuni bus stand. Ambience is very good. They have large seating capacity. Maintenance is good. Food quality is also good. Price little bit high but quantity justifying. Mutton dishes are delicious. Fried rice, chicken Manchurian, chicken schezwan these Chinese items are excellent. But, The main problem in this restaurant is, they don't have any menu card/ price chart in table, they give the menu card to you and once you ordered, they took it away. If you wish to order something again you won't get the menu card. This is very problematic. Behavior also should be improved. They don't have the proper manners. If Customers will expect a humble & sophisticated Behavior, they will disappoint.

Any student of Visva Bharati is familiar with the name S.K., Like I was for the time I was doing my B.A. in visva bharati. S.K was an often go to choice in my list because of the tasty food and good quantities. However the last time I went there was the day before I returned back home after graduation. I don't eat meat. So while ordering we asked if the have chilli paneer, cuz we had it before there, but it wasn't there on the menu then. They said sure they do. So I ordered chilli paneer for myself and my partner ordered mushroom for himself. And guess what?! They charged 250 bucks for a plate of chilli paneer!! While a full plate of chicken comes under 200 (according to their menu). How awful!! Who knew our favorite restaurant is actually such a disgrace!

It's a very good restaurant . The food was good. It's a reasonable restaurant. The service was good. The behaviour of the staffs were good. We ordered crispy baby corn and chicken lollipop in the starter. The lollipop was okaish. But, the crispy baby corn was really great. Then, in the main course,we ordered mix fried rice, chicken Schezwan and chicken Manchurian. Those were good. The friend rice was marvelous. The price was reasonable. The food quality and quantity were really enough. We ordered two plates of mix fried rice and 5 people ate that. The quantity was enough. Although very good experience. The ambience was also good. Sk restaurant can be called one of the best restaurants in Bolpur .

This restaurant is near to main busstand in Bolpur(popularly known as Jambuni busstand).The place is a cosy one in lunch hours. Coming to ambience of the place it was nice,table for 4,6,8 was there. We ordered Egg Fried rice, Chicken Butter Masala,Chilli Chicken and Salad (attached photos) and Plain Fried Rice(no photo attached).The service was a bit slow due to less number of staff available there but not more than half an hour. The Rice and Chicken Butter Masala will get 5* rating from me and also a must try dish from my side. But the chilli chicken was so so. Overall it is recommended for any family gathering or for a trip with friends. Pocket pinch Rs.850 for three people.

Food is great. Less number of Dishes but every item served is phenomenal in taste and no doubt the best in the whole Bolpur. However the environment is not at all good compared to the Club Central, a near competitor of it, and the service is also lacking some hospitality and hygiene. The portion size according to the price is too reasonable and somewhere more than expected. Two people can easily get full with one bowl of Chicken Noodles. So, for a quick tip, if you want a cosy and classy atmosphere with food, go to 'The Club Central'(More Price) and for the best food you can get, come to SK if you don't mind sacrificing the atmospheric aspect.

Food was individually taste good. But if you order various items you may feel like the gravy is of the same taste. As an example, I ordered paneer butter masla, and chicken do peyaza, surprisingly the gravy of the both dish were taste same đ. Although the taste was obviously good. Sufficient ammount were served. Served within 20 minutes. Staffs were also good. Social distancing table were arranged. Lovely ambiance. Price was a little bit high for some items. But the main problem was you cannot pay by online method, only cash is accepted. So if you go there you have to carry sufficient hard cash with you. They should improve this problem.
