Extremely poor customer service!! We went there today for lunch.. and there were 2 waitings before us. And we were told it would take 15-20 mins. After 15 mins, a table got vacant, and one couple before us left went to the table. So ideally only one waiting was there before us. Suddenly two guys enter the restaurant and they were told the tables aren't vacant as there are two waitings. Those guys convinced them to give them a table before us or the other guys who were waiting and the person standing at the counter actually did it. He didn't care how us and the other person was waiting for past 40 mins, he prefered to let those guys in, because they tipped him to get the table. I asked them how much more time it will take and he said 15 mins more. When I confronted the guy at the counter, he started giving silly excuses. It made me furious and we left. The other guy at the counter came behind us and told the table is vacant you can go. I don't understand how in a second the table got vacant when we told them that we are leaving. The guys at the counter didn't care about the customers. They discriminated as we were 3 women, so they tried to test our patience, thinking we wouldn't say anything. He kept looking at me when he was arranging the table for those guys who came out of nowhere. I would never recommend this place to anyone after this incident. Go at our own risk as the waiting time is too long and plus the waiter at counter do not value customer's time.
Also to add on, the ventilation system of the ground floor wasn't working and they didn't even bother about it. Every restaurant serves water first, they don't even do that even though we placed our order.
Last time, when we went there we made a reservation, the guy told us, "madam reservation ka koi fayda ni h waiting h 15 mins ki, customer jo bina reservation ke aate h hum unhe mna ni kr skte" even tho we told him we will reach within 20 mins.
What's the point of reservation then if I have to wait in both the cases. Extremely pathetic behaviour of staff....
Read moreRudest staff I’ve ever seen. The guy in the blue shirt at the counter is very rude and have no courtesy for the customer. I went there and ordered 2 biryanis and right after 10 seconds of the payment I asked him how big will be the portion. He said it will be 1 Kg and it will take 20 minutes. I asked to cancel the order for 1 of the biryani as 2kg biryani would be too much for 2 people. He said I can’t refund and the biryani will be ready in 5 minutes. What a shame! Just because he did not want to refund he said it will be ready soon. After some argument he agreed to refund the money but in my bank account and told me that refund will be processed by tomorrow night as our accountant will be processing it. I called him the next day and asked him about my refund and he asked me to come and collect the cash just to create a hassle for me and never bothered to inform me anything until I call him the next day and asked for it. Even after coming to collect the cash my total refund was 525 and he refunded 520. I do not care about the 5 rupees man and one advise to you from me is leave the bloody job if you are not happy there. You are at the wrong place or if you are the owner than too bad for the business and for the future customers who will be dealing with this guy. Respect your customers as hospitality is all about serving good food with respect and quality. I am also in the food business and never treat my customers like you. The only thing that bothered me is the way the manager behaved with us. The server was pretty cool but after we were finished eating, we also wanted to grab a takeout. And while we were looking at the menu for the takeout the lady manager came and asked us if we wanted something else. We told her we are done with the dining, Just looking for something to order for takeout.
The lady manager told us that we can go downstairs in their takeout area and figure that out there. IT WAS PRETTY RUDE !! It wasn't even busy at the time and me, and my friend were shocked about the way she behaved with us for no reason. Even though the price we paid for the food wasn't cheap, we still couldn't figure out why we were treated in this cheap manner?
So we asked her are you telling us to leave? She gave no appropriate answer, but looking at her body language and her face gestures. we did not want to order any takeout items anymore and decided to leave.
That's the only reason I am giving three stars. if the manager would have learnt some etiquettes And basic hospitality, we would have ordered more food, and would have come back again for sure.
