Wah Ji Wah 34 — Restaurant in Chandigarh

if wah ji wah does not deserve a 5 star rating then which place does? The concept of chaap were introduced and made famous by them in chandigarh. I think it's the one of the oldest place running on business still. If you are going to the very first time please please order lollipop chaap and you will thank me later for sure.

Pros - Located at the very edge of and then again very first shop seeks attention of every other passerby of sector 34.

They have made so many chaaps but you are going to order lollipop chaap everytime once you taste it.

After eating one plate (8 pieces) I think you will be feeling full and don't need anything else to eat now.

Their service is good too. I have done both - dine-in and takeaway and I don't think everytime I waited more than 5-8 mins to get what I ordered.

Well hygiene is maintained.

Cons -

1 . Chaps are little expensive but then again it will feel expensive to the first time buyers after having them once one will feel it's worth.

2 In dine-in too many people comes in evening and they have to up their game in this area for sure. Because standing for so long irritates the consumer.

For the very 2nd reason some people remain in their car which is not parked but placed on one side of main road and eats in their car which leads to jamm at the lights.

Ambiance is not at par with new franchises getting open today. for ambiance 2/5.

On a final note no one in chandigarh can beat chaaps...

To begin with, food quality which is the worst part of this place. They are using raag gold, for those who don't know, this is cheap low graded food cooking oil. Now why are they are using it? It's cheap.

I ordered dragon chaap. My god! It had no taste and spices are enough to produce a burning sensation in stomach. Mind you, price is Rs. 270. To add few more words of praise, they don't have a proper seating as well. If you need a ceiling fan, it's a false hope as you don't have a ceiling on your head. All you have is open sky and cars to glance at main road.

Service is equally fast. Like a dead lizard.

Hahaha I was waiting for your reply.. So, you say you serve soo many people. Well that's fab but I am also a customer and I don't see your food quality being satisfactory. I am your unhappy customer. How come can you claim that whole industry is using raag gold oil. I'll appreciate if you'll change your oil. Hopes are less though. Lies.

Worst experience ever ! RUDE AND ARROGANT STAFF ! We visited and ordered 3-4 popular appetizers with Wah Ji Wah with the order number 21. After waiting for 40 minutes and checking with the servers 4-5 times I inquired and stood near the order window now. To my shock, I saw that they were serving order number 37 and asking me to wait even more saying that your order is still not ready. Surprisingly we had the same order as on order number 37. It seems that they are in the habit of billing people and taking more orders than they can handle. I was upset not about the delay but the arrogance the servers and people at the order counter displayed. They were not at all bothered by the service issue I had and their arrogance confirmed that they believe that since now they have an established name, they don't need too value service and customer satisfaction.

I have no complaints for the taste they offer or how busy they are. BUT THEIR ARROGANCE AND LACK FOR CUSTOMER RESPECT is something I would...
