Hotel Metro 35 — Hotel in Chandigarh

METRO 35 - The real local hotel. No light in bathroom - only 1 small cfl provided. Difficult to see. All rooms are smoking rooms Water pressure in bathroom very low for both jet spray and bathing. Had to wait to fill bucket to take bath. Coffee and food tasted worst. Had to pay full amount in advance to enter the room and during checkout again asked for full amount. (They forgot about yesterday payment but afterwards agreed for that). Door was having latch and not the standard inter-lock functionality

Over all felt like staying in some bus stand hotel meant for drinking alcohol.

Good Thing No disturbance in room. Quiet and calm room. Market nearby so was able to have dinner outside. Cleanliness was good inside. They accepted cards :-)

One of the worst experience of my life. It was Saturday night when I booked this from cleartrip. I paid the full amount in advance and received the booking id from cleartrip then I went there. The man at reception said we don't have any rooms available you need to cancel your booking I don't care about your booking id or whatever you have. Just cancel it otherwise you will loose your money because we have the availability but we would only prefer offline bookings and not online bookings, he further added. So pay the almost double for the rooms that I booked from cleartrip wasn't a good deal at all. He behaved very unprofessionally and did not show any hospitality as it was late night. I had to cancel the bookings and then I went back to delhi in night just because of them. "Worst...

I visited Chandigarh in the month of February without prior reservation. Walking inside Metro 35 Hotel , Sector 35 -Chandigarh, immediately indicated personalised attention had been given to all aspects of hospitality. Front desk staff was very courteous and professional. The rooms were found to be sanitised, extremely well maintained and very clean. Being in the prime sector is a big advantage. Most places of visit are nearby and one can enjoy an evening walk peacefully. Housekeeping was prompt and took extra initiative to make the stay comfortable. The new in house restaurant 'Curve' serves delicious food. ||In all, stay was wonderful and I would highly recommend the hotel to any one visiting Chandigarh.||A big thank you to all...
