Hari Raj... okay.. so here I go... One of the best and famous veg restaurant in Bhilai. I usually don't visit veg hotels as I am a huge non veg lover but this is the fact that I can never reject anyone's invitation for Hari Raj. I love their menus and the food taste. Then one minor complaint that I have is just its portion size according to their price. And main course menu prices are little bit costlier. The starter or south Indian items are okay and cost effective.. but the same of main course are costlier than they should be... Service wise excellent. Good to chill out with friends or to have a peaceful time with family. And also kudos to them as an employer.. they hire very good and professional staff as their waiters. Also I would like to appreciate them for the music system. Sound doesn't make noise and disturbances. And they will also play songs according to your request on special occasions like they will play birthday song if you request. Enough to make someone feel special. I can't count how many times I visited their but it has been more than 16 to 17 years and I can see improvement every year. One of the best restaurant in town and I hope they will continue to serve good to people. Now don't ask why I haven't gave 5 stars.. lol.. just the price and portion size.. š afterall who doesn't like getting best in lesser...

If you ever want to experience what itās like to be ignored at a restaurant while slowly losing the will to live, Hari Raj is the place to be. The food? Itās okayānothing special, nothing terrible. But the real star of the show is their world-record-breaking wait times.
They serve one dish, then disappear into the abyss, probably harvesting the next ingredient straight from the farm. You can call the waiters all you want, but they have mastered the ancient art of selective hearing. Itās almost impressive how a restaurant can function with a staff that treats customers like background noise.
Want a second dish? Be prepared to grow a beard while waiting. Need water? Might as well wait for the next monsoon. Thinking of ordering dessert? Good luck, youāll be celebrating your next birthday before it arrives.
Hari Raj isnāt a restaurant; itās an endurance test. Go here only if you enjoy suffering, or if youāve got nowhere else to be for the next three to five...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHeard a lot about the restaurant but it resulted to be not up to the expectations. The restaurant is running over capacity, I m clueless why so much rush may be because it served only veg. Management is poor as we were told that we need to wait for about 10 to 15 min but eventually by the time we were actually seated for service was almost 45 min. Now the next thing is the air conditioning was too poor. Service was ok. When it comes to food few items we ordered were below par in quality and taste. We ordered malai Kosta which was good but the mixed veg and the chole of chole bhatura was quite poor in taste and texture both. Ambience was almost missing quite a noisy place.
The restaurant needs to improve on many aspects and certainly on the above few that I have mentioned.
Sometimes the rush is not because you are serving premium but because people don't have any other option. A good competition and put u in a tough challenge. Better to reform...
