Cafe Delhi Heights — Restaurant in Dadri

Ok so, where to start? The food is good. The portion size is good. Ambience is good. Drinks are good. Music is ok, nothing brilliant. Family restaurant - yes, it is.

But, my most important factor to visit a restaurant again and again and praise it - is the SERVICE and the STAFF. In which you guys lose. You serve me the yummiest food on earth, but if your staff is not polite, cordial and smiling and inviting, SORRY! I won't ever hit your specific joint again.

I'm talking specifically for 'Cafe Delhi Heights' the one at DLF Mall of India, Noida (not all, please note: I have had a very good experience at your cyber hub cafe, Gurgaon).

The other day I went with my mom, for a quick tea and snacks. We ordered ginger lemon pressed tea and hummus with pita and the ultimate chips and dips. Now, as a mentioned the portion sizes are large and we couldn't finish it. In the end I asked them to parcel it (the two slices of pita and hummus and the chips). As far as I know, you guys do parcel and then should do it happily. But, the staff guy here,started asking with utter boredom "what all ...this too? This too..this too??" I told him yes, whatever the left over was. Then he told a guy just behind me to parcel everything. Now, these guys kind of laughed and smirked at each other, on the issue - I asked them to parcel everything. As if it's such a huge and useless task. The other guy said (audible enough) "you want me to parcel this little and that too?" Both of them kind of joked in front of us. Obviously, I ignored, why to create a scene and ruin others peace.

Do you guys know it's BETTER TO GET YOUR LEFT OVERS PARCELED always and not to waste food. I never trust any of the cafe on - what exactly they do with the leftovers, therefore I always get my leftovers packed, even if it's a slice of a pizza.

Secondly, what kind of behaviour is this, by your staff? Shouldn't they be just happily doing their duty...or should they be judging and smirking people around?

This arrogant, snobbish, and rubbish behaviour esp. in front of my elderly mother was so disappointing.

This was the second time I've had a bad experience at your DLF outlet and the last one. First time I just thought the day is blaahhh...and let it be.

All your free munchies and good food is useless if the staff isn't pleasant, can't smile and be polite.

I'm really sad that I will have to skip this great place, just because of...

Extremely Disrespectful Front End Person. Some person said the guys name is “Nawal”.

We visited DLF NOIDA Cafe Delhi Heights. We have always been very satisfied with your other outlets especially DLF Promenade.

So Basically the Brand & its Owners are good but down the line things are going bad in this particular DLF NOIDA outlet.

While the Food & Service was absolutely fine it was the behaviour of this Front desk guy that was shocking.

Exact Incident & Time 05/08/2025 3:54 pm: After Hosting a Family get together for 10-12 guests bill amount INR 9891 , I “REQUESTED” this front desk guy Nawal to consider any 1 dish complimentary “IF POSSIBLE” referring to the same request that was accepted at their Starling outlet whenever I hosted a family party with high amount billing.

THIS GUY NAWAL STARRED INTO MY EYES & SAID “I HAVE BEEN WORKING AT STARLING OUTLET FROM LAST 3 YEARS before coming to DLF NOIDA outlet & NEVER HAVE I EVER SEEN YOU THERE”

HE DINT EVEN ADDRESS ME AS “SIR”, I requested him not to embarrass a customer like this. I was shocked hearing his answer & wondering What is the purpose of Chef & Waiters doing so much effort when the Front end guy just does this SHIT embarrassing treatment.

I recommended him to atleast be professional & polite to Deny a request from a customer.

I asked him to make the bill & paid it by my HDFC INFINIA CARD added on Dineout- VERY LIMITED EDITION PRIVILEGE CARD OFFERED ON INVITE ONLY BASIS TO REPUTED INDIVIDUALS. I am mentioning this to make Readers realise that I am not a College goer student.

Remembering this experience, I will Never Prefer to go in NOIDA Cafe Delhi Height Outlet ever again.

Owners, Kindly Invest in better Training at this particular outlet for Front End People.

Even Till the end this Guy dint have courtesy to even apologise. So much was his Arrogance in his voice & looks towards me.

In all this Chios, I even forgot to check the items billed. 1 Nachos ordered & billed but never came on table.

Ps: Pls keep baby chair. They are not available at this particular outlet. Your Other...

We came here while shopping in mall of India. Seeing the huge crowd and waiting lines we decided to try out luck

#ambience : 3.5/5 Well built cafe with some nice retro posters and lots of sculpture. They also have a full fledged bar with cool decoration. Overall while it is a nice cafe there was no reflection of any delhi or delhi heights in the same. We never understood what is the relation of Cafe name with its theme or food or anything else

#service : 3.5/5 Prompt and quick. Standard for fine dining chains The plus point are the complimentary bread sticks and dip u get. This is an emerging trend I ve started seeing across many chains now

#food : 4 Baked mushroom caps : one of the best mushroom preparations I have cm across. It's rare that you see people doing good mushroom dishes The mushrooms were fresh with tasty stuffing. Must try when you are here

Assorted Mushroom bruschetta : Another good mushroom dish. The mushrooms were fresh and well cooked along with nice bread

Paan day (drink) : High Point of our experience. It's very refreshing and served chilled. Definitely have this when u r here . The serving id large in size so you can enjoy the same over your meal.

Frozen hot chocolate : this was a sore disappointment. A normal chocolate milk shake with a fancy name & price tag. Do not buy the same. Zero value for money

Sweet Potato cheese Dabeli with chickpeas chat: Well done chat dish which actually had some flavor of the streets of Delhi. The only low point was excess of chole /chickpeas which suppressed the entire taste and made it too heavy to eat even for two people. Could have been made better had somebody tried it before actually serving to the guests

Price : 3 For the cost we found that neither the ambience nor the food justified the cost. They really need to ramp up ambience and the core product to really differentiate itself as a fine dining option
