Namaste people !! Hope things are great with my fellas !!
Recently, I am exploring in house brands like Haldiram, Bikanervala and so many more. So I kicked off my journey with Haldiram at logix mall (I didn’t visited though but delivery also counts partially I guess).
Since we were two people therefore I ordered 2 separate dishes. The first one was special Indian platter which consisted of dal makhani, shahi paneer, mix veg curry, raita, 2 different types of bread, rice and one gulab jamun. Dal makhani and shahi paneer tasted sweet and actually very good. Mix veg was delicious too. My personal favourite was shahi paneer with naan. It was bang on !!
Second item that I ordered was mix veg uttapam which was accompanied by coconut chutney, garlic chutney and sambhar. Uttapam tasted good. Not very hard to chew and it was nicely cooked. Also, the grated coconut on top of it was one of the finest garnishing and when you eat it with garlic chutney umm it was bang on !! Sambhar was pungent which I liked it. The only thing which could’ve been better was coconut chutney. It was watery in consistency so that was one thing which I didn’t like that much.
Moving on to delivery and price - The item were delivered within 30 - 35 mins. Price of each item oscillates between 250 - 350. I found it very economical. Not very heavy on pockets.
Overall experience - Haldiram has improved a lot in the recent times. My current experience with them was good and I would recommend you guys to try it out...
Read moreMy recent dining experience at Haldiram was an absolute delight! From the moment I stepped into the restaurant, I was captivated by the warm ambiance and the aroma of delicious Indian cuisine wafting through the air. The staff greeted me with a smile.
The extensive menu offered a wide variety of dishes, and I decided to try their famous thali. The presentation was impressive, and each item on the thali was a burst of flavors. The assortment of curries, bread, and desserts was truly a culinary journey through India.
The highlight of the dining experience was the taste of the food itself. Every bite was a celebration of spices, and each dish was prepared with a perfect balance of flavors. The naan was soft and freshly baked, the paneer dish was rich and creamy, and the dessert was a heavenly treat to end the meal.
Besides the delightful food, the restaurant was clean and well-maintained, making for a comfortable dining environment.
All in all, Haldiram exceeded my expectations, and I left with a happy heart and a satisfied appetite. I will undoubtedly be returning to relish their delectable dishes and experience their warm hospitality again. Whether you're a local resident or a visitor, I highly recommend giving Haldiram a try – you won't be...
Read moreWish there was a half star option. Haldirams should just pick a lane, you are good with sweets, chaat and North Indian food, but draw the line their. Don’t venture into cuisines you are not comfortable with. I don’t know why, but I just ordered a plain vegetable sandwich, I thought all I wanted was a simple not too heavy and non fried snack, but god what a mistake it was. It was the most pathetic and sad looking dish one could get after paying more than what it deserved for. The sandwich was a piece of bread stuffed with cucumber, tomato and cheese slice sprinkled with obnoxious amounts of masala and a slice of cheese. No sauce, no flavour, absolute garbage. Every bite I took made me angrier on being cheated like this. Haldirams , if you are listening, you can’t make sandwiches, leave it to experts and freakin stay in your lane, just do chaat, sweets and North Indian cuisine. Presentation was worse, and for some reason they did not have enough packet of chips to give and said they would send it to my table but never did. NEVER EVEr going to this...
