Jungle Barbeque — Restaurant in Dadri

Went to this awesome restaurant for a dinner! And had a pretty amazing experience here. Read my verdict about this restaurant below.

Starting from the Quirky ambience to the food and pretty much everything was great.

Whenever we go to a restaurant, the basic things we all expect are good food, hygienic place, proper service, and a good ambience.

Basically you can find all these things here! Yes right here, in the jungle.

Jungle Jamboree has all an amazing interior to give the feel of jungle while you hog on some delicious food. They have different sections in the restaurant describing different habitats. Like a forest section where all forest animals belong to which has greenish light and grass mats all over. And another aqua section where water animals belong to, which has mermaids and a huge aquarium with blue lights to give the feel of water. Pretty amazing right? Not just this the place has all their waiters wearing hair cap, and gloves too, to keep up with hygiene.

Moving to the main, thing we all would love to go there again and again! Food that is worth it! They offer buffet and normal restaurant type services so you can enjoy both types in the same restaurant. They offer buffet both for lunch and dinner. Also they have options of early and late birds. Prices vary from 599-899.

Everything we ate was perfect! The fish was thoroughly cooked and it was the first time i had such thoroughly and evenly cooked fish, the juiciness, the crisp outside, everything about it was pretty delightful. The chicken tikkas which are made in front of you, in a tandoor were delicious! The kebab were so soft that they were melting in mouth. Dimsums properly cooked and tasted very well! Drinks, among the mocktail menu were amazing too, Fruit punch which had lots of sweet fruits, served in a large quantity was succulent. From a variety of breads to hot soups, they had it all on their buffet counter. Even the salad counter had such variety of salads and also some which i haven't seen before. Especially their veg pulao which almost tasted like a non veg biryani!!! Yes you heard it right, now vegetarians can have the taste of non veg biryani too. Pulao had everything except meat/chicken and tasted just like a non veg biryani would taste. And how can i forget about desserts!? The amazing dessert spread is a must have! They even have something especial for the ice cream lovers. They have a whole counter dedicated to ice cream!!! Choose whichever flavour you want, take the scoop and take how much you want. Isn't it heaven?? They also provide you with toppings like Chocolate, blackcurrant syrups and cherries to give more flavour to your ice cream. Nor just that they have brownies, cakes, and puddings to have! So i would prefer to save some space for desserts before you ask to repeat some dish. Does this tempt you enough to visit this place for once atleast?

If your answer is yes, i would always prefer you to reserve a table on the Zomato/DineOut app before you go their and wait in a queue! This place is always pretty crowded, so it's better to reserve your table before hand and avoid...

Review 2 - 21/Aug/2022 I thought they may have improved from my last experience of 2018. To my utter shock, they have rather degraded.

Bad experience starts right from the main entrance. I had booked a table for 7 guests by Eazydiner app 2 days in advance, but still the gate attendant could not verify and wasted 10 mins and he was also busy on other calls.

Service is very slow and poor. Nobody attended us for almost 20 mins. The grill is much smaller compared to Barbeque Nation or The Pirates of Grill.

Food is another aspect of let down. All the food items are tasteless, some of them have only one taste - Salty. Example - Daal Tadka and Fish Tikka. Whereas Mutton had no salt and no taste at all. And then the shock of the day was unavailability of Prawn and Mutton kebabs in starters.

Verdict: No revision in star rating. I'll never think of taking my personal guests to JJ in future, rather my choice will remain Barbeque Nation.

Review 1 - 29/Jan/2018 First impression was unpleasant. Good food but my family was not happy. I called their reservation to book a table for 3 for my son's 9th birthday. I wanted a booking between 1 - 1:30 pm, but I was given a booking for 2:30 pm. I was also told that we will get a complementary birthday cake. But when I was driving down I received another sms that my booking is now at 3:00 pm. When I reached the reception desk the executive very rudely told me that I called back to move my booking to 3 pm, but I didn't call. Then how and why was my booking shifted? Nevertheless, we were given a table. The Manager visited us and I apprised him of my first experience with "Jungle Jumboree". Also reminded him and the service waiter of my son's birthday. But despite reminding and mentioning 3 times they didnt care. The food was good. Their options of starters and main course are good. The ambience is good. But ambience is not everything, customers also expect good service and polite behaviours from staff. Last year we spent our son's birthday at "Barbeque Nation, Noida" and it was such a pleasant experience. We loved it and still have the photo frame at my son's study desk. In last 1 year we have been to "Pirates of Grill, Noida" 3 times and there was no complaints whatsoever. We wasted our special day on exploring a new place for a different experience.
