Place is not clean, Washroom is smelly, yucky, not clean, they don’t even offer wifi and PLEASE STOP CALLING IT READERS CAFE, ITS JUST LIKE ANOTHER CAFE/RESTAURANT with not even good ambience, tables, food and even songs are just just average. I had read such good things about this cafe that I thought it could be my next go to place, to be honest Starbucks and blue Tokai have a thousand times better ambience than this. Cleanliness I had to clean everything wherever I was placing my things. The chair and table had so many chilli flakes and oregano and it’s amazing, the waiter welcame me with menu, without even considering to offer me a clean table first. Facilities available and worth wrt food and services- I had to plug my laptop for charging and they have just 3 charging point on entire floor, plus when I asked about wifi, first, he said we don’t have wifi and when I showed him they had, he said customers are not allowed access of it. I was like how cheaper you could get? Because their menu has everything above ₹250, with every page of their menu reminding you that they levy service charge, so that later you can’t say that you weren’t told about service charge. Ambience- First, tables and chairs weren’t even clean. I mean none, none of them were clean. Second, washroom was smelly and yucky, I got severe headache just by going in their washroom. Needless to say it wasn’t clean at all and commode was broken. Third, They play songs on loud volume, the only difference in songs with other cafés is that they don’t even play good songs. I don’t know who reads with lousy bad taste songs on high volume. To keep up with the name, they just offer few books which are not good even. Food- Not good, below average, bad bad bad!! I hope atleast one things would have been good here. I ordered watermelon mojito and I looked through their entire menu, nothing interested me. Plus with whatever I had experienced till the time I could order any food, I had gotten much more skeptical of the place. The mojito was just plain some inedible colors mixed in soda water and ice and few mint leaves were shoved inside the glass, all in all it was just horrible. If I had to say one good thing about the cafe, I had thought very hard on it, I...

I had a truly disappointing experience at The Readers Cafe, and the management seriously needs to address its day-to-day operations.

As soon as I entered, there was no one to greet or direct me to a chair. I noticed a guy in a blue shirt sitting in the corner on his computer, but he made no effort to help. After waiting for about 8-9 minutes, I finally received the menu — despite being the only guest at the time. The menu itself was torn, and that should have been my first warning sign.

Still, I decided to give the place a chance and ordered an Iced Latte, which turned out to be the worst I've ever had. The coffee was far from fresh, and the milk used tasted like powdered milk — absolutely disappointing. I also ordered a cheese grilled sandwich, which was drenched in mayonnaise and made with an old, stale slice of cheddar, even though the menu didn’t mention mayo at all.

When I politely informed the boy in the blue t-shirt (his name was Ravinder or Ravi, I believe) that I don’t eat mayonnaise, he argued with me, saying that’s how it’s made. The unnecessary argument was unprofessional and frustrating.

The overall atmosphere was miserable. Employees were visibly sweaty (no issue with hard work, but hygiene matters), the rooms weren’t properly furnished, and the toilet was unlit and stinky — an absolute nightmare.

This cafe is clearly relying on the appeal of books to attract customers, but the service and atmosphere are far below standard. Not...

Recommended only if you like the taste of Live COCKROACHES in your food and drinks. So I visited Reader's Cafe on 30th July, 23, along with a friend. To my surprise the cafe is only Reader's friendly only in the namesake. The worst was when I was there mineral water bottles were kept on book shelves and along with books. This wasn't the worst, it's yet to come. So we ordered food pics attached. One of my friend is a vegetarian. When our drinks came she took the sip from her coffee, there was a live cockroach in the drink. Which went into the mouth via the straw. When I called the serving staff he was least cooperative, empathetic or apologetic. He went back to the counter and told the rest of the staff and they all started laughing. It was so demeaning. Then had to call the manager who was only called in after repeatedly asking for him. To our unpleasant experience he came in and wasn't of much help either. So this is the worst cafe in Noida. Zero hygiene in fact the health department should shut this place down. Only recommended if you like the taste of live bugs in your food and drinks and worst serving staff. Couldn't believe this is happening in a place like Noida. Utter disgrace and disappointment to all...
