The present review is of the Sawagth Restaurant in the Mall of India.
This place is a go to if you like to enjoy good dinner with some hard drinks. The place provides for Happy Hours on the alcoholic drinks from 11 am to 9 pm. And the food is good and served well.
Staff:
Swagath actually provides good "swagath" which means to welcome in Hindi. The staff greets very politely and makes you sit comfortably. The basic etiquettes, which are said to be lost in the regular restaurants, are found here. The staff sticks around and serves food. Constantly makes an effort to know if you are enjoying the same. The staff also helped us to make a good choice in drinks.
Ambience:
Swagath has maintained it's good taste in interiors and also has high chairs. It's a neat and clean place with a soothing environment.
Drinks:
As mentioned above the restaurant provides for Happy Hours from 11am to 9pm which is a good deal. The alcohol menu is provided separately with the food menu. Also a small table top drinks stand menu is there for your quick understanding and ordering, if like us you don't like turning pages. The staff helped us in reaching a beneficial deal in case of ordering drinks. The drink was served by the staff.
Food:
I have tried quite a lot of dishes but my recent was to try Chinese cusine. We ordered Veg Hakka Noodles with Garlic Sauce Veg which costed for 375 and 425 respectively without tax. It was well served by the staff present. And both of them tasted good. Veggies were in good quality in noodles and the Garlic Sauce was tasty as well.
Food and drinks for two costed around 1500 rupees. If to split, the food costed for around 900 and the two beers for around 600 rupees.
Verdict:
PROS:
✓Good peaceful ambience ✓Excellent staff ✓Good food ✓Happy Hours
CONS:
✓Some may find it costly
I recommend this restaurant for visiting to enjoy a drink or the food, since both are amazingly good in this restaurant. The staff here is a cherry on the top of the cake.

Read moreI recently visited Swagat in Sector-18, Noida for a dinner with my office colleagues, and overall, it was a pleasant experience with a few minor hiccups.
Let me begin by appreciating the place for its wonderful ambience. The restaurant had a pleasant and inviting atmosphere, making it a comfortable space to enjoy a meal and socialize with colleagues.
The food quality at Swagat was excellent. The starters, in particular, were standout dishes that were flavorful and well-prepared. The taste and variety of the appetizers left a lasting impression on us.
However, one aspect that needs improvement is the timing of the main course. We were overstuffed with the generous portions of starters, and unfortunately, the main course started quite late. As a result, we couldn't fully enjoy and savor the main course items as much as we would have liked. It would be beneficial for the restaurant to ensure a smoother transition between the courses to optimize the dining experience.
Another point worth mentioning is the parking situation. I would recommend visitors to consider using public transport when coming to Swagat as the available parking space is limited. During our visit, we had to park our car nearly half a kilometer away, which was a bit...
Read moreI always prefer homemade food over eating outside, but sometimes that's not an option. So, what do you do? Your conscious mind makes a conscious effort to narrow down the options. That's how my friend and I decided to dine at "Swagath" but we didn't know it would be our last dining experience.
For Rs 325/- the "Mojito" tasted like nothing on earth (It doesn't deserve that price tag). The drink received a lot of criticism from us and soon after my friend did a magic trick. He pulled a strand of hair from his mouth. I think he was chewing on that bite for a long time. Yuck. it was horrible. To sum up, it was the most awful experience ever.
Surprise: We couldn't win the argument (neither were in the mood to give the consumer first 101 lessons) so we paid for the "Meal served with Hair"
General Awareness: Your food is prepared behind closed doors and travels from the kitchen to your table. A quick glance at the menu may lead you to believe that such pricey labels must imply hygienic conditions and taste but that's not the...
