Sagar Ratna — Restaurant in Dadri

I don't know how to pen down my experience yesterday at the Sagar Ratna at Sec-18 Noida. Honestly we've grown in the times where these eateries were legendary. While some of them have managed to keep the flag flying high, there are some obvious disappointments. Landing up there for a quick light dinner proved to be a wrong step yesterday night. While the interiors have been spruced up, decor has been renovated and made interesting, food was really a big disappointment. Vegetable Manchurian had almost metal balls, so tough to crack. That too over cooked and charred from outside, while being raw and, uncooked and still cold from inside. Typically like taken from the cold storage and thrown into good-for-all seasoning and gravy. Must admit that same was replaced promptly, but with same problem once again. Tried to point out once more. Was not charged for the dish, but what can compensate the ruined experience? Dal tadka was Ok. Portions were a big let...

The place was warm and toasty on a very cold winter night to the point of feeling stuffy after a few minutes.

The ambience is simple and typical pf south indian restaurants. The service initially seemed quiet eager to take our orders but was taking at least 20 mins in bringing every item.

Even a simple rasam papad took 30 mins !

The food we ordered was Rasam Papad ,Tomato onion Uttapam, rawa Idlis ,Chettinad Masala dosa in the south indian food. Veg Chowmein in Chinese food. Kadhai paneer , Dal Makhani, Paneer Butter masala , Shahi Paneer and Saag with Makki ki roti and Butter naans and Garlic Naans.

I was surprised to say that the North Indian fare was much better than the South Indian fare , which is a shame for a South indian speciality restaurant. Only the Rasam Papad was good enough. Go for the North Indian food - recommend the Paneer Butter Masala, Naans and the...

I recently visited Sagar Ratna and was pleased to find that the parking facility was good. However, I was disappointed to see that the parking charges were quite high. As for the food, I ordered the rava masala dosa, but unfortunately, it turned out to be very bad. The quality of the dish was poor, and it didn't meet my expectations at all.

Despite this, I must say that the overall experience at Sagar Ratna was decent. The ambiance was pleasant, and the staff was courteous. However, I would suggest that the restaurant management pay more attention to the quality of their food and also reconsider their parking charges.

In conclusion, while I did have some issues with my visit to Sagar Ratna, I appreciate the good parking facility and the efforts of the staff. I hope that the restaurant management takes note of my feedback and works towards improving their food quality...
