I had a highly disappointing experience with Champaran Chicken. The chicken had a foul smell and an oddly sweet taste, making it completely unpalatable. The quality was extremely poor, and the food did not seem fresh at all.

The Matka Chicken was utterly tasteless, and the Tandoori Chicken lacked even basic seasoning—there was no salt whatsoever! To make matters worse, the Champaran Chicken was outrageously expensive, especially when compared to the poor quality and meager quantity provided.

The staff’s behavior was equally appalling—arrogant and dismissive, with no regard for customer satisfaction. For the prices charged, this was an absolute disappointment.

I am planning to report this to the FSSAI and other concerned food safety authorities to ensure that action is taken against the establishment for serving such substandard food. I would strongly advise others to avoid...

The taste was fine for chicken and mutton curries but it was not upto the expectations, and taste which I had before from other Champarans' joint.

Worst part was the amount and their piece selection in both chicken and mutton curries. Champaran’s Kitchen is based on a concept of Bihar- cooking. This is a famous place for mutton and the prices are great! The food was amaazing. Especially the mutton served in a matka which was brilliant. The meat and the spices were equally flavorful and it’s indeed one of the best places to have mutton.
