AKU’S - The Burger Co. | Defence Colony — Restaurant in Delhi

Aku’s is arguably the best burger joint in Delhi. Actually there is no argument - it definitely is. After weeks of wanting to visit this place, I finally managed to go last night and was completely bowled over by the food, service & the cutesy ambience! I had two burgers (bingo & bold bingo) - both with lamb patties and they were absolutely fabulous. The lamb was juicy and cooked to perfection, the buns were soft and melt in your mouth and the cheese and the secret A sauce were OMG brilliant! I also ordered a side of fries, Belgian chocolate milkshake & a brownie (yes I have a big appetite) - and suddenly the World didn’t seem such a bad place after all. The desserts are from the much loved F.L.O.C. and as awesome as they’ve always been. What was also great about this place was that the chef/owner and her brother/partner were there throughout and supervising the going ons with a keen eye while also being friendly, courteous and polite with the guests who were dining there. It was packed on a Sunday night and you could see everyone from young kids to the elderly enjoying their scrumptious, gorgeous burgers! The love that they’re getting is truly well deserved. Well...

I wanted to visit This place for quite some time now and i have finally had the chance to visit last night. Generally burgers are my favorite thing to eat outside so i had a really high expectations from this place but sad to say, my experience was not that great. Giza burger was not great at all but Master Wu burger was okay due to extra cheese patty. Their Truffly oil fries were good but the quantity was low incomparison of what i paid for them.I also tried their mac n cheese but right after first bite i felt i should'nt even consider as it doesn't feel like mac n cheese at all and lastly, i tried their ginger and mint fizz drink but it was totally pathetic. There was only high dose of ginger in the drink so i was feeling that it was just a simple water and ginger in it. I didn't even finish that off.

And one of the main reasons i didn't like them is the PRICE. I mean they charge hefty amount for their food, no matter what you order, you immidietly feel that the food is not upto the mark incomparison of what you paid. I don't recommend this and i'm definitely not going to come back again.

Ok so I've ordered in my times via zomato , Sunday was the first time I went to the bricks (july'18)

I had the Bold bingo to start with , which had ozzing cheese thankfully not over powering over the melt in your mouth caramalized lamb Patty and onions ! I have to say I have one reason less to go to Europe !

Next the parmasan truffle fries , the smell will take u to another zone adding an intresting twist the ever loved patato !

Coz my taste buds wanted more I ordered next a Chelapeno burger which is grilled chicken and jalapenos ( hence the name ) , I loved the juicy chicken which didnot dry out and was equally yummy as the lamb ( suprised me )

So I paid about 1000 for 3 items which is not a lot for the quality product that goes in your belly

I will say fresh from the curb is tastier than ordering at home ( meats dry out a bit when left in a box for delivery) ( not akus fault, that's just meat )
