To celebrate Delhi's first actual rain this season, I ordered a bunch of pastries from Theobroma (pineapple, Brownie, Millionaire's Brownie' chocoholic, hazelnut). The arrival of the supposedly sweet treats dampened all my excitement. The pastries were unusually small in size but hefty on price. Coming on to the taste, by saying they tasted worse than a local bakery shop would be an understatement. They used extremely poor quality compound and whipping cream. The hazelnuts in the hazel pastry had gone soggy. The chocoholic pastry seemed to be more of creation out of some witch's cauldron. Their famed brownie tasted burnt. The saving grace was the pineapple bite sized pastry and the packaging (which can't be eaten). It was such a washed out experience. They did not even bother to inform the customer of a possible delay neither they tried to arrange for another way of completing the delivery. The store person did not even know the way of checking out customer location using the delivery address on Maps. They Were simply sleeping on the order...worst service experience.
