Al Qureshi's — Restaurant in Delhi

Third class place in terms of management and professionalism. I called them at 10.00pm and asked when can i give my last order,they said we take last order till 10.30pm for dine in .i said okay i want to book my order for mutton and chicken tawa.they said you have to come to restaurant for the order then i went there at 10.20 and on counter i said to reserve my order for mutton rogan josh and chicken tawa and take the payment i will be back within 10 mins just serve me on the table ,the person on the billing counter clearly says i can't reserve this if you pay also i said why ? If i am paying and coming within your prescribed time and paying for my order then why cant you take this order if i am ready to pay in advance the person in charge clearly says sir come after 10 mins we will take your order,then i said okay i will come at 10.30 sharp. When i went there and have seat inside their restaurant i ordered the same thing but the waiter said no there i no mutton availble , i asked him when i was trying to book my order from so long why you didnt booked my order and i was ready to pay in the advance also ,at that time they said come at 10.30 we will provide you and when i reached there they clearley denied my order that was a pathetic experience there no professionalism, no management, no welcoming attitude for the customers in total very poor staff and all the concerned worker from calling staff to billing staff to waiter...

AL QURESHI--the very name stands for taste and reliability. But the experience we had there last night just nullifies the idea. We ordered chicken korma, biriyani and chicken tandoori. All the food stuff was much less in quantity, apart from being rather tasteless. Biriyani tasted much like jeera rice with chicken in it, korma was all curd and spices. As for chicken, we were given only two bones for Rs 230. We complained to the staff who seemed to have experienced the heat of Tandoor themselves. But even worse was the behaviour of the owner who started shouting at us. Things reached such an extreme that we left our food and came straight out of the restaurant, of course paying as much as Rs 1100. Obviously, I am not complaining about the money they charged. I am surprised at the rude manner with which we were treated. This feels even more embarrassing when you are in the company of your family members. And yes, this is for the second time that I have had such an experience there. So, it's quite certain that they are deep into the habit of fleecing customers. And a final message to the owner--Saab, jo khud topi pehante hain, wo kabhi dusro ko topi...

Al Qureshi’s is in GK2 area opposite Don bosco school, the place has enough parking in front of the area. The place is an old establishment with sitting both inside and outside. For my visit I choose to sit outside and have my dinner.

Service is fast and the staff is polite and attentive, food is made fresh and delivered to the table in no time.

We ordered Mutton Seekh Kebab & Chicken Tangri Kebab with roomali roti, both were delicious. The kebabs were juicy and fresh 5/5 from side for the barbeque. We also ordered the mutton biryani, the portion for the same was huge but was more of like pulao than biryani. Not something that I would ever order again.

For drinks the place is next to a general store so you can order any cold drink and they get it for you with glasses at the table.

Our meal costed us 1400 INR, which as per me is not expensive for the quantity of food that was served to us and the quality of Barbeque, which was yummy.

Overall the place is nice, and one should go only for the barbeque as per me. Staff is polite and...
