Third Wave Coffee — Restaurant in Delhi

The store spreads over two floors. The lower floor (the ‘ground’ floor, though it’s actually a few steps up from street level) is where the order counter, display cases, etc are, along with a few tables. From here, past a quirky and colourful mural depicting Delhi—Red Fort, Parliament House, qawwals singing, people drinking coffee (of course!)—there are stairs to the upper floor, where there are more tables.

Third Wave offers a hot and cold coffees and teas, besides a few non-caffeinated drinks. Among their specialty coffees, I was tempted by the dried orange zest mocha and a hazelnut cappuccino, but finally decided to go for a regular cappuccino (all coffees are available in three sizes: regular, medium and large). They have an array of eats, from sweets like tea cakes to croissants, to savouries, including sandwiches, wraps, and so on. They also have breakfast specials (the store opens by 8 AM, so a not-too-late breakfast is a viable option here).

Ordered for the first time and then they messed up by the second time. Got severe food Poisoning from their salad which was served with Pita bread and hummus.Over and above I called them , The girl who picked up my call was very rude and rather than listing to my situation, She decided to give the call to another person without even informing them about what had happened to me or what was the issue all about. The salad was visibly bad because while I was consuming it there were shoots in it from the cabbage which was used. I was influenced by all these good reviews, But based on my personal experience all I would say is that be very careful because not only was their salad bad but at the same time their behaviour was outright rude during my initial conversation with the girl Who answered my call. I recently visited Third Wave Coffee Cafe and had a delightful experience. The dry hazelnut cappuccino was perfectly balanced, offering a rich flavor without being overpowering. The roasted pesto veggie croissant was a standout, bursting with freshness and a savory kick that complemented the flaky pastry. The mushroom and cheese croissant was equally impressive, with a creamy filling that was both indulgent and satisfying.

We also enjoyed a classic butter croissant, which was buttery and light—an essential for any cafe experience. The pistachio milkshake was a hit with my uncle’s kid, creamy and sweet with a unique nutty flavor that made it a fun treat.

The iced coffee was refreshing and robust, perfect for a warm day, while the hummus pita platter offered a delightful, healthy option with smooth hummus and fresh vegetables.
