I am an old customer of Ambrosia but this time when I ordered for their ice cream cake, it came without dry ice. And for some strange reason the delivery associate asked me not to put it in the fridge saying that the dry ice will take care of the cake. But when I opened the box, it was puddle of cream. Whole cake was melted. When I called up their customer service next day, the lady was downright rude and kept insisting that it was my mistake. While I do acknowledge that I should have not completely adhered to delivery person's feedback but when things go wrong on people's special occasion, Ambrosia should be more empathetic and atleast patiently hear customer's concerns. If you’re putting lotus biscoff in the name of the cake, there is a certain expectation of the customer that they’ll get a good flavour of lotus biscoff. However we couldn’t even TASTE the lotus biscoff spread, there was just caramel crumbs on top of the cake and lotus biscuit.    Read moreWe regularly order; they give a time slot (in our case 4-6pm) for ice cream cake. As we were going out of town same evening, we called all guests for cake cutting at 6pm.
We had called to confirm the timing slot; and they agreed.
But at 6pm no cake arrived. We called them and the delivery man was 45min away. We had to pick up an alternative cake from different vendor in local market.
As expected Ambrosia refused to give a refund. They said they will give a credit note. But that wasn’t acceptable to us.
