Rizq — Restaurant in Delhi

I really did not understand the place.. Nor do I think the place knows what it is. One floor is done up in a very fine dining way, then in too you have outside seating and large space for a DJ and for people to dance etc. The two don't go together really so I think they are hoping to tap into all kinds of people and settings which won't work.

Their in-house cocktails are at the 1500-1600 range (absurd), severely limited menu, and some of the food items touch 3000 per dish - which is alright if the food is that good, but if it was one shoukd have heard of the place from people which I had not. We just picked it at random today.

As an example, some of their meat prices are 1.5x to 2x of what you woukd pay in a dedicated, specialised barebeque joint like the pit in Vasant vihar. Cocktails at SIDECAR are for the most part lower in price and those are known in town.

We left. Went someplace else. Don't know if this is defence Colony rentak rates putting pressure on their prices or simply they believe that it should be what they are..

Wait Staff was on point in terms of paying attention but some were not. Guy sitting at the main entrance going through his phone, and when asked if the car was parked properly he said go for a valet (the road was empty).. Another one on the terrace going through bills or a register of sorts in one of the customer booths... Now I don't have a problem with either of these, I am not stuck up and I don't hold these things against anyone but when you see the prices one woukd think that there woukd be such agressive rules in place for an experience that such incidents would not even be happen in...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Rizq, and I must say it was an exceptional experience for both my taste buds and overall dining satisfaction. From the moment I stepped foot inside, I was captivated by the inviting ambiance and warm, attentive service.

Overpriced ! Over Presented ! Over Hyped ! 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

This restaurant was a big disappointment..4 of us order a cold Meze platter, the Turkish yogurt dip was sour in taste ! I mean sour guys which clearly suggests that it wasn't fresh. The platter was accompanied by 4 other dips which tasted of nothing at all. It was a cold platter which is an excuse for the restaurant to over charge you and give you stale food. Order a non veg mix grill. Priced are what it is, it hardly had meat in it..the mutton kebab was too rare, raw inside and slightly done outside which is think should be a choice of the customer and not the server. One puny piece of lamb chop which which was pounded to look bigger and was completed dry and hard to chew..chicken pieces were good and succulent. Order a falafal..was very good ! Order a veg pizza..was fresh but nothing above average.. All in all this restaurant was a big let down.. Do remember I was also asked to leave the restaurant after sitting down cause I wearing shorts in my earlier visit.. I still thought of giving it a chance due to the love of good food..but they have nothing to offer except overpriced petty food in an ambience...
