avaya cafe and bakery — Restaurant in Delhi

Based on experience of dine in on 5th Oct 2025.

Went during evening. Had coffee and dessert Hot and cold coffee along with walnut dessert. All were good as per pricing (Portion and taste both)

Parking - found free car parking in front/ground level of the cafe.

Cafe is on first floor with decent atmosphere and cleanliness.

Location - near to AIIMS, nearby a Gurudwara is also there.

Pricing - reasonable as per food, beverages quantity and taste.

Washroom - they have washroom inside cafe

Seating - adequate to accommodate 20-25 people I would definitely go again to check it

As during last visit it was having some issue with its electricity (power cut offs/trips), young people have been in the cafe so bit noisy for a while.

Service - definitely need improvement. Please note that staff was humble. Only area of improvement could be more focus to customer.

The ambience is pretty nice and cozy. I ordered a Vietnamese coconut coffee and a pesto fettuccini. The coffee was exceptional and i really loved it, but the fettuccini was overcooked by atleast 2 minutes and it was really soft, mushy and sticking together. Something to be noted by the line cooks.

Coming to the service, which is probably the thing which needs most improvement. The servers didn't care to provide with a glass of water on arrival and i had to go to the counter to place my order. Once my order arrived, none of the servers came to check if everything is alright, instead most of them were behind the counters talking or were on their phones. The managers and BOH( back of the house) employees were talking louder than the customers themselves. The guys did the bare minimum service, and that is something which needs a lot of improvement.

I hope the management takes this review positively and work on improving it and make this cafe a bit more welcoming and provide a hospitable...

The customer service was non existent, we were 6 people and the seating area was very little and no one bothered to help us get seated. When we did get seated, no plates or cutlery were served, even water was not served. And then when we asked for water, they didn't even bother asking if we prefer cold or room temperature. The food was THE WORST part of it all, we ordered 4 to 5 dishes and not one, NOT A SINGLE ONE was tasty, they all felt like they were cooked by an amateur! The ingredients in the food like avocado, bread, paneer and sausage were NOT AT ALL fresh! Such horrible quality of food! The only good thing on our plate were the potato chips which I'm sure were packaged. We saw many good reviews of this place and then decided to come here but this place was a COMPLETE DISAPPOINTMENT!
