Fine-dining or casual, sophisticated , authentic or fusion, there’s nothing that pleases Indians more than desi food . When it comes to Indian food, its myriad ingredients and flavours, Punjabi food is perhaps the loudest of all. The madness and gusto of Punjab is definitely not for the faint-hearted.
It has been several years since Bells and Pepperz has been there in Ashok Vihar , And they have taken dinning at a whole new Level in North Delhi .Great efforts of the owners Mr Pushpender singh Chawla and his son Mr.Vickram Singh Chawla I would the truely call there team "Tastemaker to Delhi "
We started our meal with starters we had Dahi ke Kebab and Paneer Tikka. Accompanied with spicy mint chutney, my faith in the saying 'happiness comes in small packages' got renewed. The paneer tikka was soft, succulent and well cooked. Dipped in flavoured loved the Dahi ke kebab melt in the mouth, it was a complete delight to devour
For main course we chose to go with one of the recommended dishes, Palak Paneer Every Punjabi's favourite, the dish is prepared from spinach, roasted cottage cheese, cumin and red chillies. If you want to savour authentic Palak Paneer, you must go to one of the strictly Punjabi restaurants, as others usually get it wrong.
Then there was the traditional dal makhani - rich and creamy, that took me back to the north Indian highways, where you would sit at the dhabas and gorge on the dal full of rustic spices.
Overall for the main course, I have to admit, I enjoyed the every dish . We spoke to a few other diners. Some lauded the courteous service and others enjoyed the ambience. One diner said the taste of the naan (Indian flat bread) was great and get along with the rich delicious Indian curries.
As for the food, the starters were a taste sensation and so were the Many dishes in the main course too. If your idea of good food Bells and Peppers...

The ambiance exudes class, the attentive staff enhanced the experience, and the well-presented North Indian dishes I enjoyed for dinner were a highlight. Despite the slightly higher price point, the quality justifies it. Kudos to the welcoming manager on the ground floor.
The Veg Sizzler Platter left a good impression, though slightly salty. However, the thin crust pizza was disappointingly thick, resembling cardboard. The garlic bread looked tempting and the variation in table setups made for an interesting quirk. While service was a bit sluggish, akin to a turtle's pace, the small portion sizes of the food were noticeable.
Though seating arrangements were a tad confusing, with sofas on one side and table-chair setups on the other, it added a touch of humor to the experience. Each table's unique setup certainly piqued curiosity. Despite a few areas for improvement, I'd gladly award this establishment ⭐⭐⭐stars for the overall experience."
Things for Note for restaurant ▪️Service need to seed up it's slow as turtle 🐢 ▪️Portion size of the food is very small. ▪️Unable to understand sitting one side theres sofa others side it's table chair 🤣 ▪️Every table chair set is different from other... ▪️RS 40 coke...
Read moreBell pepperz is very famous and old restaurant since 1990's. We have been there to try out their new Rajasthani thaali which they are serving from while.
Rajasthani thaali at a price of ₹525/- that includes Dahi Gujiya, Dal batti churma,Makhani Paneer,Jodhpuri Gatta curry and many other authentic dishes from Rajasthan. That's very difficult to bring in different state flavors in other city. But how well Bell pepperz maintained it is absolutely amazing. At this price, I would not have a second thought to go by myself or tell someone to go there and try out their amazing food.
Apart from thaali, we have tried its virgin mojito and trust me guys, its amazing. One of the best i have had till now. Crispy stuffed Wanton with hot garlic sauce is must to try. If someone haven't heard about it, then it is similar to momos just the difference is they are bigger in size and more stuffed with some extra vegetables.
Overall, it is a fine dine restaurant going very well since its inception and recently they have started serving fusion thali of Rajasthan. My recommendation is to go over there and try atleast once. You all...
