Biryani By Kilo - Rajouri Garden — Restaurant in Delhi

So this was my second successful attempt of trying Biryani By Kilo... This time I tried to tasted few new things from their menu.

Before talking about the Food... I must say this Biryani chain is growing bigger and bigger. They have recently got huge funding and they are opening up new outlets rapidly.

Again, Before talking about the Food... Their packing speaks louder, I have seen people ordering from this place who are more interested Handi than Birynai. Hahaha :)

Let's Talk about my food:

Malamaal Chicken Biryani: This was boneless spicy Biryani full of flavors n rich in aroma. Half portion of this Biryani was served in beautiful Clay Pot. The rice quality was best possible.

Mushroom Pepper Fry: Ummm.. this was one of the dish from BBK which I dint like. It was freshly mushroom added in Chetinad gravy which had mustard seeds and curry leave. This was again of Spicier side. {You May Skip this Dish}

Phirni: This was heaven, balanced sweetness and made perfectly. This was stored and served very coldly freezing in again a Clay Pot. My 2year of Nephew also loved it.

Surely, BBK is my favorite place for Biryani in Delhi. there are many brands getting popular these days but hands down BBK...

I once ordered from Biryani By Kilo, Gurgaon and since then I know how much good their food is.

Their presentation of food is on point and not just presentation, but their handis are strong and well built and keeps the biryani and dishes quite hot. They give small burners which works as gas stoves and hence, you can warm your food as you like. Also, the quantity of their food items is just amazing and by far, one of the best according to the prices.

Peshawari Chole Biryani- They have recently launched this new biryani which is absolutely delicious. Full of dry fruits, potatoes, paneer and lots of chole.

Paneer Nawabi- One of the best paneer items I ever had. The big cubes of paneer with the gravy is cooked in desi ghee and the taste is just amazing. It is creamy in tase and different from Shahi paneer or any other paneer mains.

Phirni- This is one of the best desserts they have. Served in matka which serves 2-3 people and thick enough. The delicious taste of kheer and rabri makes my taste buds happy.

Daasten- E- Gul- The lawkee halwa which is very delicious and has lots of roasted nuts...

Biryani By Kilo is among one of the best biryani I've tried(I loved it and I'm not even that big a biryani fan). I ordered it via Zomato, so I can't tell you about the ambience BUT the packaging was awesome. I received it in an earthen pot whose lid was tightly shut by applying flour all around it. And it was still pipping hot when I received it (i.e. 30 mins after it left the restaurant).

We ordered - Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani (1kg) Price - 695 Amount - More than sufficient for 2 people (We had it to our fill and yet there still some left. I'll just have a good breakfast as well. It is almost student friendly, just a bit on the expensive side. BUT the taste, the satisfaction of a full stomach and the entire packaging cover up for it easily.

Overall, it was a nice experience. It is definitely worth a try. Also, I got bonus points from Biryani by Kilo and I might just start liking...
