We visited Cafe Hinge based on its impressive online ratings, but unfortunately, our experience was a letdown. We ordered the white sauce pasta, coffee mocha, and Irish coffee, but the food and drinks failed to impress. The pasta was unappetizing, tasting more like raw maida (flour) than a well-cooked dish. The drinks were also subpar, lacking the richness and flavor we've come to expect from specialty coffee drinks. What's more alarming is that we discovered Cafe Hinge has a policy of offering a 10% discount for every 5-star rating. This raises serious questions about the authenticity of their online reviews. It appears that the ratings are inflated due to this policy, rather than a genuine reflection of the cafe's quality. Based on our experience, we would advise against visiting Cafe Hinge solely based on its Google ratings. Instead, take a closer look at the reviews and be cautious of biased ratings. Hopefully, the cafe will take steps to improve their food and drink quality, rather than relying on...
Read moreA big shoutout to the team at Hinge Café!
Thank you for being the unexpected saviors of our Saturday night! We had originally planned to dine at a so-called "fine-dine" spot in CP, but loud music, uncomfortable seating, and poor service left us looking for a backup plan. That’s when we stumbled upon Hinge Café — and what a blessing it turned out to be.
From the moment we walked in, the vibe was comforting. We ordered hot chocolate, peri peri fries, and Alfredo pasta — and every dish was served with warmth and tasted absolutely delicious. You guys turned around what could have been a ruined evening into a memorable one.
A small suggestion to the management: You might want to look into reducing service delivery time and slightly improving portion sizes — that’ll take the experience up another notch.
Pro tip: If you’re planning to visit Hinge Café, you can save a bit by using the Zomato Dining option!
Cheers and keep up...
Read moreI had high expectations from Cafe Hinge given its premium pricing, but unfortunately, it was a huge letdown.
First off, the mushroom sandwich was disappointing—the bread was stale, and it wasn’t even grilled properly. It felt like something hastily put together rather than a well-made dish. The burrito bowl was another letdown; it tasted exactly like rajma chawal, with no real Mexican flavors or creativity. Definitely not worth the price.
The smoothie I ordered turned out to be nothing more than a normal ice-cream shake. To top it off, the fresh lime soda was so sour that it was nearly undrinkable—they didn’t even bother to stir it properly.
Service was another issue. Despite the cafe not being too crowded, the wait time was excessively long. For the prices they charge, one would expect much better service, presentation, and taste. Sadly, Cafe Hinge fails on all counts. Would...
