Review: Disappointing Experience at Chai Point (Near Kirti Nagar Metro Station)

We visited Chai Point (near Kirti Nagar Metro Station) about a month ago, and unfortunately, we missed sharing our experience earlier. One of the items we ordered was the Classic Maggi (the plain version), and what we received was extremely underwhelming — barely 1/4th of the container was filled. This was in stark contrast to the pictures displayed on their display board at the branch, and online platforms like Swiggy, Zomato, which show a full and hearty portion.

This is a clear case of misleading representation and unfair trade practices. Customers are enticed into ordering based on exaggerated images that do not reflect the actual quantity served. In comparison, similar cafés like Chaayos offer much better value and consistency.

To make matters worse, when we raised this with the staff, they casually remarked that had we ordered the Maggi with vegetables or paneer, the container would’ve “overflowed” and looked like the images online. That kind of justification only adds to the frustration — it highlights how deceptive the visual marketing is for the basic version.

We strongly advise others to avoid visiting this outlet. The experience not only felt like a rip-off but also raises serious concerns under the Consumer Protection Act. We urge the concerned authorities to take action against such...

We tried the Poha with Ginger Chai combo, and it was the perfect way to start our day. The poha was light and flavorful, and the ginger chai was a comforting complement. The other combos on the menu, like the Parantha and Sandwich, also looked tempting.

I visited Chai Point for the very first time because i needed to wait for someone and i was also craving the evening tea. I ordered a masala chai along with Bun Omelette. Wow! I honestly didn’t expected what i actually got. The chai tasted so good like i’m having it at home and the Bun Omelette was so fresh and tasty that i burned my mouth because i couldn’t wait to finish it hot 😅 This is not a paid review but definitely an honest review and the very first impression of Chai Point on me.
