Classic was introduced to me through a friend who happened to get pizzas from here. So we decided to go and try and taste on our own.
One fine afternoon we managed to make plans for this place. It is very close to metro station like 5 mins or less of walking but we weren't aware so we took rickshaw which charged 10/- each. It is in the market complex of Karkardooma. It has a huge board which makes it easily spot able.
Ambience:
The place was neat and clean with sitting both at outside and inside the restaurant. So we waited for our chance to get a seat because it was crowded. The crowd basically comprised of youngsters who were sitting and enjoying themselves. Ambience was ok. It was more of Ambience which would be liked by youngsters for a quick grab of snacks. Nothing fancy. I felt the sitting was limited and can be expanded as compared to the crowd which comes to dine-in the restaurant.
Food:
After seeing the menu with decided on to order a pizza, a pasta and garlic bread with cheese.
The garlic bread with cheese was more like a risk my little software and had a lot of cheese over it. Though it was having a lot of cheese it seemed to be of lower quality and was not melting it was quite hard to bite on the cheese. Taste was ok ok. It was for rupees 50 for two pieces.
Next came the pasta. We had ordered baked pasta which was given in aluminium box and it was topped with thick layer of cheese and was quite difficult to dig into that cheese layer with the folks provided.
At last we opened the box of pizza. We had ordered veg extravaganza pizza. I was loaded with cheese and vegetables. And out of all the three that we had ordered I liked Pizza. The crust was crispy and there was a lot of cheese. It was a cheese blast Pizza. Pizza was good as compared to pasta and garlic bread with cheese.
Shakes and cold coffee:
After eating so much of cheese we ordered a cold coffee and a KitKat shake with together costed for some 200 rupees. The cold coffee reminded you of coffee toffee of your childhood. The KitKat shake was for Rupees 135 and it was good. But then again I had a better KitKat shake at many places.
Staff:
Okay the staff was a kind of rude and slow. The pizza, pasta and the garlic bread took almost 15 to 20 minutes to be cooked and the staff was not at all concerned.
While at the restaurant we saw people complaining of bad taste of cold coffee. Though it was replaced yet it shouldn't have been served in the first place.
Verdict:
Over all an okay place. The prices are nominal. But what I noticed that the place was famous for ice cream and waffles than any of the orders we made. Maybe some day we shall venture the place for ice cream only. But not a place which makes you a fan of it and at least I am not very impressed to visit the...
