If you're a food enthusiast in Delhi, then exploring the bustling streets of INA market is a must-do. Amidst the diverse array of culinary offerings, one delicacy that stands out and tantalizes taste buds is the famous "Dahi Ke Sholay." As a lover of street food, I recently had the pleasure of trying this iconic dish, and it left me impressed and craving for more. Dahi Ke Sholay is essentially a vegetarian delight, combining crispy bread rolls with a creamy and tangy filling. These golden-brown wonders are prepared by stuffing a mixture of spiced hung curd (yogurt) and finely chopped vegetables into bread slices. The rolls are then deep-fried until they acquire a perfectly crunchy exterior. The result is a symphony of textures and flavors that make Dahi Ke Sholay an irresistible treat. When I arrived at INA Delhi and approached the vendor known for his exceptional Dahi Ke Sholay, I was immediately greeted by the inviting aroma of fried goodness. The stall itself was simple but clean, with a crowd of enthusiastic food lovers patiently waiting for their turn. Upon sinking my teeth into the first bite, I was greeted with a delightful explosion of flavors. The crispy outer layer gave way to a luscious and creamy filling that was perfectly balanced in terms of spice and tanginess. The hung curd was refreshingly cool, contrasting with the warm and crispy exterior. The medley of finely chopped vegetables provided a pleasing crunch and added a burst of freshness to each bite. One aspect that truly sets the Dahi Ke Sholay at INA Delhi apart from others is the accompanying chutneys. The dish is traditionally served with a mint-coriander chutney and tangy tamarind chutney. The mint-coriander chutney adds a refreshing herbal note, while the tamarind chutney provides a sweet and tangy kick, elevating the overall experience. The portion size of the Dahi Ke Sholay was generous, and the price was reasonable, considering the quality and taste. Each bite was satisfying and left me craving for more. While it may not be the healthiest option, indulging in this street food delight once in a while is a guilty pleasure that is worth every calorie. In terms of ambiance, INA Delhi is a vibrant and energetic location, bustling with activity and a melting pot of diverse culinary experiences. The street food culture in this area is unparalleled, making it a perfect destination for food enthusiasts and explorers alike. Overall, my experience with Dahi Ke Sholay at INA Delhi was fantastic. It lived up to its reputation as a crowd favorite, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to indulge in a truly delectable street food experience. Just remember to bring your appetite and be prepared for a delightful explosion of flavors! Note: As a responsible food lover, it is essential to prioritize hygiene and choose vendors who maintain cleanliness and food safety standards.

_*A Legendary Culinar Experience*: Dahi Ke Sholey at Dahi Ke Sholey_ I recently revisited Dahi Ke Sholey, the pioneering food outlet behind the iconic dish of the same name, and I'm thrilled to report that their signature creation still reigns supreme. This innovative masterpiece, first introduced by them, has set an unparalleled standard for flavor and quality in vegetarian cuisine. _Flavor Profile:_ The Dahi Ke Sholey is a masterclass in balancing tangy, spicy, and savory notes. The tender, marinated sholey (vegetarian skewers) is smothered in a rich, velvety dahi (yogurt) sauce, infused with a secret blend of spices that elevates the entire experience. Each bite is a harmonious union of flavors, leaving you craving more. _Consistency:_ My second visit only reinforced my admiration for Dahi Ke Sholey. The taste, texture, and presentation remained consistently exceptional, a testament to their commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. _Ambience & Service:_ While the dine-in experience can be challenging during rush hours, the staff's warmth and efficiency make up for it. Be prepared for a wait, but trust me, it's worth it. Parking can also be a hassle, but that's a small price to pay for culinary excellence. _Packaging:_ The packaging deserves special mention – it's top-notch! Dahi Ke Sholey ensures that their take-out orders are meticulously wrapped, maintaining the freshness and integrity of their dishes. _Verdict:_ Dahi Ke Sholey is a must-visit destination for vegetarian food enthusiasts. Their dedication to serving innovative, delicious, and authentic vegetarian cuisine has earned them a loyal following. Be prepared for a flavorful adventure that will leave you eagerly anticipating your next visit. Rating: 4.5/5 Will I return? Absolutely!

What Makes It Awesome? There are times when you’re famished and broke, and then you crave for some sumptuous Dahi Ke kebab or Dahi Ke Sholay. That’s when you gotta rush to this small corner shop in the rear end of INA market. It runs under the name of Pandit Ramsharan Sharma. Not many people are aware of this tiny shop which has been serving some delicious Dahi K Kebabs since 20years. Yes, it’s that time old. Needless to say, they serve it with an onion salad and tamarind coriander chutney. The sweet and sour taste of the chutney with the crispy outer layer of the Sholay, mixed well with the seasoning to perfection dahi mix is absolutely phenomenal. Other than Dahi Ke kebabs they serve some other yummy munching options too like Cheese Ke Kebabs, Samosas, Bread Pakoras with delicious Aalu Ki Sabzi. I have been visiting this place since childhood but the way they have maintained the same taste and quality is really commendable. It’s extremely affordable with one Dahi Ke Sholay costing only Rs 20 and the paneer or cheese variants costing Rs30. This is, by the way, the most expensive stuff in their menu. So the next time you are near INA market, make sure you visit this spot for some delectable snacks.

  • 3 stars for the "THE BREAD ROLLS" (sholay/sholey) because it was so so in taste (I tried the "Italian Cheese ke sholey"). It's not like something different from the other bread rolls but the only difference is they experimented by adding some other stuffings eg: dahi, cheese and some vegetables instead of potatoes which everybody knows as a classic bread rolls stuffing and their experiment worked. but still I would like to say it's not something very special or different.

1 star for the service because when I ordered for myself (Italian Cheese ke sholey) first of all I asked the shop owner "how much time it will take to prepare" he replied that only 5 minutes I said ok and ordered for myself and for my friend too and paid him in advance by saying that I am paying you in advance please keep in mind. Then our waiting time started and it was over after asking about my order five times and the waiting time of more than 35 minutes, and when I received my order I was not as hot as I was expecting because the shop owner told me that they are preparing the fresh batch of Italian Cheese Ke Sholey. Because our order was less hotter than the mild hot category and I was feeling like the shop owner served me the older batch's item. Because it was not feeling like a freshly prepared batch too. PAISA BARBAAD. And yes I forgot to add that the shop vendor was again asking for the payment for the order then I remind him that I already told you that "I am paying you in advance please keep in mind", then he starts behaving like he didn't remember.

** 2 stars for the atmosphere because they don't have any proper dine in the facility it's like a street side. The shop is ok but the area where people eat feels like you are eating at a street side thella. Only two/three high top round tables are there you take orders and start eating there while sharing those tables with the other customers also. No proper parking facility you park your vehicles on the roadside at...

Dahi Ke Sholay – A Must-Try Street Food Delight at INA Market, Delhi If you're a street food lover in Delhi, Dahi Ke Sholay at INA Market is a culinary gem you shouldn't miss. Tucked inside the vibrant and bustling Kashmiri Market section of INA, this humble stall has earned a cult following for its unique and flavorful take on a classic snack.

Dahi Ke Sholay, also known as curd rolls, are deep-fried bread rolls stuffed with a creamy, tangy mixture of hung curd, finely chopped onions, capsicum, and mild spices. The outer layer is crisp and golden, while the inside is cool and refreshing—a delightful contrast that makes this dish stand out. Served with mint chutney and sometimes a spicy red sauce, each bite is a burst of flavor and texture.

The stall is known for its generous portions, affordable pricing (around ₹40 per plate), and quick service. Despite the crowd, the staff is efficient and friendly, ensuring that you get your order without much delay. The place doesn’t offer seating, but the experience of standing amidst the market buzz and enjoying hot, crispy sholay is part of the charm.

What makes this spot even more appealing is the variety—besides the classic version, you can try paneer, cheese, or even Afghani-style Dahi Ke Sholay, each with its own twist 1.

While the area can get crowded, especially in the evenings and on weekends, the food is worth the wait. The freshness of ingredients and the consistency in taste have made this stall a favorite among locals, food vloggers, and tourists alike.

In conclusion, Dahi Ke Sholay at INA Market is more than just a snack—it's a flavorful experience that captures the essence of Delhi’s street food culture. Whether you're a first-timer or a regular, this crispy, creamy treat is sure to leave you...
