Review of Food Bus of India (FBI)
Food Bus of India, also known as FBI, is a unique concept restaurant that brings a refreshing twist to the dining experience by converting actual buses into a functional eatery. The idea of transforming a traditional bus into a two-story restaurant is innovative and captures the imagination right from the moment you lay eyes on it. The lower deck of the bus serves as the kitchen, while the upper deck is designed as a cozy, fully air-conditioned seating area for diners.
Ambiance and Concept:
The first thing that strikes you about FBI is its originality. The creative use of buses as dining spaces provides a distinct atmosphere that's unlike any other restaurant. The upper deck seating is quite comfortable, and the air conditioning ensures a pleasant dining environment, regardless of the weather outside. The seating arrangement is designed to maximize space while maintaining an intimate feel, making it a great spot for casual hangouts and small group gatherings.
Food Quality and Pricing:
We ordered a veg pizza, which turned out to be surprisingly delicious. The flavors were well-balanced, and the ingredients tasted fresh, indicating good quality. However, it must be noted that the pricing seemed a bit on the higher side. While the unique setting and concept might justify the premium to some extent, the cost does feel slightly inflated when compared to other restaurants offering similar cuisine.
Hygiene and Cleanliness:
In terms of cleanliness, the restaurant does fairly well. Most of the areas were clean and well-maintained, although a few spots could use some more attention to detail. Given the unique setting of dining in a converted bus, maintaining hygiene could be a challenge, but overall, the restaurant manages to keep things reasonably tidy.
Service:
Service at FBI could use some improvement. Although the staff was courteous and friendly, the service was a bit slow. It took longer than expected for our order to arrive, which could be a point of frustration for diners, especially during peak hours. However, the humble attitude of the staff and their willingness to accommodate special requests somewhat made up for the delay.
Overall Experience:
Food Bus of India offers a unique dining experience that's worth trying at least once. The novelty of dining in a converted bus, combined with the tasty food and fully air-conditioned seating, makes it a memorable visit. However, the slightly overpriced menu and slow service are areas that could be improved. If you're looking for a different dining experience and don't mind paying a bit extra for the ambiance, FBI is definitely...

We recently visited FBI and ordered their special vada pav, home-made style barbeque chicken pizza, non veg thali and Chinese platter. The equally delish vada pav packs the true flavors of Mumbai, simple and flavorful. The potato vada has an appetising stuffing – mashed potatoes mixed with mustard seeds and in-house spices. When the hot and crispy vada is eaten with the fresh pav, it tastes heavenly, especially in winters. The vada pav was served with mint chutney. Food bus of India has quirky interiors and offers a great variety of Delhi’s delicious street food under one roof.
So, whenever you visit Delhi, must have experience of Food...
Read moreActually it should be a 3.5 to 3.8 but i don't have a choice here. Since I heard a lot about this place,I went there for a dine in experience but thats wasn't the best decision. Firstly a great concept 👌 and highly appreciable. Anyway we decided to order 3 things that cost us 831 bucks including the water. 1.aloo Tikka sliders(4/5,great presentation, but its dry from inside and the buns too were a bit dry.chutneys were great) 2.chicken khurchan sandwich(3.8/5,stuffing was great, really great, but the loafs were really hard to chew on) 3.Alfredo Pasta(veg) well as per the potion size price was a bit high, but apart from the quantity what it lacked was the creaminess of Alfredo.(3.5/5) The Biggest drawback I felt was the synchrony or staff response.they weren't upto the mark. At the end,one of them asked how was the food to which I replied it was good. But he was like sir can you give a review now only it will take a few seconds only And on your next visit we will give a discount,to that I said I will do it later on but he was like it will only just take 1 minute from your end,I mean you can't impose that on anyone right? Well than he left without a not so happy face. Otherwise this place is cozy and...
