K. K. Da Dhaba — Restaurant in Delhi

KK Da Dhaba (previously Kake Da Dhaba) is one of the better known names among the string of eateries along Najafgarh Road (near Tagore Garden Metro Station).

What sets it apart is a better looking seating space and the presence of an attached bathroom (yes! Believe it or not, all the other "dhabas" in the area lack this basic amenity).

Location Opposite Metro Pillar 431. No dedicated parking, though there is always ample space along the road.

Seating and Ambiance Very basic seating arrangement with plain tables and wood & metal chairs. The ceiling has some PoP work with well placed lights that provide a bright and consistent luminance (worth mentioning because this again is something present only here w.r.t. its neighbours).

Service Average. The waiters are quick and the food is served in time. "Get the job done" seems to be their motto.

Food Our order : Butter Chicken (qtr) Paneer Butter Masala Laccha Parantha Roomali Roti Tandoori Roti

Amount (for 3) 💰 : ₹454/-

The chicken was tender, the gravy was a nice balance of tangy and spicy.

The paneer was melt-in-the-mouth soft and had a very rich gravy.

The breads, too, were pretty good except for the Roomali Roti which was just too thin and tasted papery.

Conclusion: A good enough spot for a meal - it's not fancy, but it definitely gets the job done (so full marks to their motto?).

Pro-tip: Be sure to ask for extra onions and chutney if you order...

Bunch of cheaters as they are fooling customers and they think customers knows nothing whatever they will say customer will follow. After ordering Patiala chicken they literally prepared it with white cream and other gravy apart from tawa chicken gravy , the cook asked the supervisor / man sitting at counter(Danger calling name)to give tawa chicken gravy and he said it’s not available instead asked the cook to prepare the patiala chicken from gravy lying in the kitchen and mix 2-3 items so that a thick gravy can be made. I was listening everything and when the item was packed and upon asking the owner /manager he said my chicken is prepared with kaju gravy 😅so it is white and was trying to cover the entire situation and was repeatedly saying if you don’t need this time than return it and take the money back . Dear Owner at KKDhaba plz verify this from your staff today (2nd June 2024) that whatever I posted is correct or not and if iam right plz take necessary action against them as lying customers will not take your business a long way rather a day will come you will have zero customers also the taste of the chicken was awful and was smelling like butter chicken with lots of black peeper smell and taste. Went to this place on suggestion of a Friend of mine who lives nearby to this "Dhaba"....we ordered Paneer butter masla and Tawa paneer...after 10 mins waiter came to us and said that the gravy of both the dishes would be same ....I was like so why have you written same dish in the menu with a different name but the waiter remained silent....after much thinking I ordered Soya chaap in place of Tawa Paneer and was assured by the waiter that their Gravy would be different from one another....While our order was being prepared i noticed a few things...since the kitchen was at the back of the sitting place and only a wall was dividing it constant smashing of utensils and plates can be heard....I even spotted some mosquitoes as well.....Finally our order was Ready and guess what???....Gravy was still the same....and waiter seemed least interested to answer our query and the owner was not there ...Taste and Quantity was no way near the Price charged for those dishes.It was an abysmal Experience at...
