Read moreI've always enjoyed momos from Giri momos but hygiene was always a big issue. Today I went to get some packed, and I noticed the guy steaming/handling the momos (referred as 'Chaudhary') was not wearing the mask properly, his nose was completely out of it and I pointed this out to him to hear no reaction from him. I conveyed the same to the lady who manages and she asked this guy to wear the mask properly and even then he neither reacted nor fixed his mask, and then the lady looks at me and starts laughing. I felt this was very unprofessional on their part and quite scary to be honest in these times of corona. All I could do in this moment was just leave with the food and hope the guy didn't have corona. Never ever eating again from Giri Momos, despite eating here since years. Would not recommend Giri Momos at all! I just changed my previous rating from five stars to one star today after I received notification from Google...
Read moreIt is a take away food joint but they also have some place to sit. Most people park their cars in front of the shop and enjoy their momos.
They have a very unique variety of momos with some interesting names.
Apart from the usual tandoori and fried ones, they have cocktail momos and mozzarella ones too. I've had all of them.
In these different styles, the stuffings can vary from vegetable, paneer, chicken or afghani. I like all the vegetarian ones apart from afghani momos. Cocktail momos are my favourite. These are basically gravy momos covered in thick creamy gravy. They serve two sauces with the momos. The usual spicy tomato sauce and a creamy dip which is slightly sweet. The spicy one is appropriately spicy. The cost is also not too high considering they have good variety and good taste. One plate has eight momos. Two people can have filling evening snack in less than 200 bucks here.
This place is strongly...
